Sporadic Avatar Changes
we all tend to like switching our avatars whether it be seasonal or monthly or weekly or whatever. here's a place to comment and discuss new avatars!

Re: Sporadic Avatar Changes
I don't really have such a good computer.. but I have a good program that can darken the lines as well as make it smaller ^^ and the program would be... Word 2007. I just alter the settings of the picture and then copy it to Corel Paint Shop Pro where I make sure that there are no gaps or too light lines and then I just colour it randomly. If I need to alter the size I save it, copy it then paste it in Word 2007 and make it smaller (because that way it's easier to keep the original form in stead of deforming it).

lol, first time I hear of using a M$ product for image editing. When I find an image that would make a good avatar but needs modifying, I use Irfanview when in Windows and The Gimp when on Linux.

Here's Irfanview and here's The Gimp. The Gimp also has a windows version but if I ever need something that powerful in windows I better go all the way and install Photoshop.

Two good free products for windows users.
Image Resizer: from windows power toys, it puts in a right click option to resize a picture. It makes a copy in the size you want. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx
PhotoPlus6: From Serif Software, a neat little free picture editor. There are some other good free programs here too. http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/
Free software is fun.
