The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya... One of the (if not THE) best anime EVER. 'nuf said.

I'm trying to finish Tutu too. And Suzumiya is one of the very good anime. It is really a different story line than the usual high school fair. Very well thought out and very well animated. As for best ever, depends on what you like.
