Journey to Erehwon The game begins

*Emiko had been drawn out of her store as well as Tim played his music*

Emiko: hmm... it seems to be as I thought..... if his unconscious power over the wind develops through his music, we all will be a force strong enough to make it Erehwon. I can just feel it.

*Emiko had begun twirling around while holding a strip of red satin. The satin dances like a ribbon to Emiko's movements until the music stops. Emiko finds herself in the square holding the satin*

Emiko: Oh no! I have to return this to the store before they think I stole it!

*Emiko runs back to the store with the satin*

Emiko: I'm so sorry! Tim's music distracted me and I dance off without knowing I was holding this!

*The shopkeeper just smiled*

Shopkeeper: Don't worry about it dear, we were all taken by that boy's music.

*Theresa steps forward and places her hand on Emiko's shoulder*

Theresa: Would you like me to make you something out of that fabric?

*Emiko turns to Theresa*

Emiko: Oh, Theresa! I'm no good at choosing fabrics or anything like that. If you could please just choose whatever will be easiest for you to work with in whatever you think will look best for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I think my friends are starting to get together in town, I should probably join them.

*Theresa takes Emiko's arm*

Theresa: Well, then I will choose the fabric later. I'm going to need your measurements to make you an outfit, and you need some traveling clothes. Come on dear, we must go back to the house, then you can join your friends.

*Tim joined the others, gathering in the square, getting ready to journey on. Tim was feeling very good. He had found presents for everyone. Pretty jewels and ribbons and things for the girls. some interesting things for the guys. Some fancy small tools for Zwerver, a whole book of practical jokes for Loki, a black cape with a foreboding red design that looked appropriately evil for Maurice, and even a bottle of Dr. Pepper elixir for Dave. The man that sold it to him assured him it would cure almost everything, especially memory loss. Tim also got Dave a book with blank pages and a nice pen, so he could write down all the things he didn't remember, that way, when he wanted to remember them, he could just look them up and remember them. Tim had a good time giving the gifts to everyone. He smiled at Rune as he handed her a pretty pair of crystal ear-rings.*

Tim: Your wings are very pretty, Rune. ......... Oh, but I did see them, while you danced. They were like shadow wings, but they were just like the ones on the water girl, so very lovely. Someday you will fly.

*He gave Emiko a necklace with a round hoop, woven across with an irregular lace, with colorful stones in the web.*

Tim: This is a dream catcher, Emiko, if you hang it near you when you sleep, it will capture and keep your good dreams, so they can come true.

*Tim gave Merenwen a pair of sparkling stone bracelets.*

Tim: These bracelets are made of loadstone, Merenwen, right from a volcano. They're supposed to give you extra energy, from the magnetic power from the volcano.

*For Chin, Tim had some pretty jeweled combs and ribbons for her lovely hair. and for Faelyn, a tiny ankle bracelet, and a special cushioned saddle to put on Clyde, so it would be easier for her to ride.*

Tim: We should get back to traveling. Old William told me which way to go to find more data balls, to the plateau with the steel caves. We can get to another valley farther up the mountain before night fall, we can camp there. I have plenty of tents now.

*Rune blushed at Tim's statement* I believe him...I'll have wings once we find Erehwon. *Rune smiled softly and thanked Tim for his gift. And she went to retrieve her gifts for her companions. Hopefully they wouldn't notice her retrieving it from inside Chichi.*

Rune, whispering to Chichi: You know I think I would prefer a bag...

Chichi, after Rune pulled out her hand: Oh pish. You know after a while you would be tried of lugging it around, I'm much more convenient.

Rune: Though a little gross.

Chichi: Hey!

*Instead of listening to her spirit grumble she made her way towards Emiko, handing her the book she bought.* Rune: I thought this book would rather suit you. You have a lot of power so it'll be no surprise if you would be able to summon,right? *Rune gave her friend a smile as she moved to Merewen.*

Rune: Here, it's a dagger case, I saw you earlier holding a lovely dagger, it would be a shame to just leave it without a case. I picked something that would match you. I do hope you like it.

*Without waiting for a response Rune went to Faelyn and handed her the barrettes she bought.*

Rune: This'll look pretty on you. I'm sure it will. Chichi said so too. *Rune turned to Tim and handed him the three musical pieces she bought.*

Rune: This should widen your range in music. You're very talented and if you would I'd love to hear more sometime. *Rune smiled and went on giving her other companions their gifts. She bought something called a laptop for Zwerver, a dark evil liquid-what it was for, she had no idea- for Maurice, some of those novelty items she came across for Loki and something like a camera for Dave. They were ready to leave so she shuffled back to Chichi and got her cloak and put it on.*

[Freya]

*Emiko had been stopped on the way to the house by her friends who had been bearing presents*

Emiko: Oh! I-I-I......Thank you Tim! And thank you Rune! I-I wasn't expecting anything... I promise I'll make this up to you guys...

*Emiko looks down at her feet and feels like she could cry*

Emiko: I spent so much time looking at that fabric.... I never thought to get things for everyone...

*Theresa beamed at the others then bowed to them, taking Emiko's arm once more*

Theresa: Excuse me for a moment, I need to borrow Emiko before you all take off.

*Theresa hurries Emiko back to the house and up the stairs to the attic. Theresa opens a trunk and pulls out a few outfits and after a moment tosses them aside. She digs until she finds a nice woolen traveling cloak along with a long dress and a pair of warm tights. She holds them out to Emiko who takes them and folds them over her arm*

Emiko: Uhm, won't it be kind of hard for me to travel in a dress Theresa?

*Theresa chuckles a little*

Theresa: That's only for ceremonial purposes should the need arise. Of course the traveling cloak will come in handy often to protect you from the weather.

*Theresa returns to searching through the trunk. She pulls out a pair of slacks and a tunic shirt*

Theresa: These should be comfortable for traveling in and I think the cut of this shirt will look nice on you as well.

*Emiko takes the slacks and shirt and goes to change. She comes back out twirling to try and see herself*

Emiko: How does it look?

*Theresa smiles*

Theresa: It looks better than when I wore it I'll give you that, and it didn't look half bad on me either.

*Theresa glances out the small attic window*

Theresa: It looks like your friends are ready to go. Here's a satchel for your dress and cloak, I'll have your outfits made by the time you get back....I feel like I'm forgetting something...

*Theresa thinks about how to make the outfits and then remembers*

Theresa: Oh! Your measurements! I need to take your measurements.

*Theresa runs downstairs to get the measuring tape and a notepad and pen as Emiko puts her old clothes and her new clothes in the satchel she was given. Emiko also picks up the books she had been given and places them in the bag still feeling guilty she hadn't done anything for all the people who were being so kind to her. Emiko puts the bag down as Theresa returns with the measuring tape and begins to take her measurements*

Theresa: Ok, put your arms straight out to the side please.....ok..... now stand straight..... ok........ ok....... take a breath.....ok. I think I've got what I need.

*Theresa gives Emiko a hug and pats her on the back*

Theresa: Your friends are waiting, stay safe dear.

Emiko: Thank you so much Theresa for all of your help. I am so grateful!

*Emiko steps back a pace and bows to Theresa. Theresa smiles and Emiko smiles back as she picks up her satchel and runs outside to join her friends*

After a good deal of working on the data player, Zwerver decided to leave the old man's house and explore the area a tad since everyone else had gone shopping. Maybe when everyone had returned, he could get the data player set up so that they could all watch one of the documentaries together like Dawn of the Living Dead. Oh, he was sure that that would be a great documentary to watch--certainly it would be interesting.
Then something caught his eye! A rather dull-looking copper coin twice the size of a quarter. While he was going to try finding out more about this coin, he caught sight of several of the group members in the square and decided to join up with them. He absentmindedly stuffed the coin into his coat pocket.

Merenwen: Thank you!! I never really had presents before.. But I'll make sure that I'll, like Emiko, will give you something in return one day ^^

Loki: Ah, thanks, you shouldn't have...

* Loki looked around, wondering if he should try getting something for them now and what when he saw a small notebook and a pen in a nearby booth. He bought them and scribbled some words as he walked towards Tim and Rune. *

Loki: Ok, here.

* He took the pages he had written and gave them to them. On it was written, on big letter's and signed by him, "L.O.Y." *

Loki: "Loki Owes You", Use it well.

[Freya]

*Emiko walks up behind Loki*

Emiko: You had better be wise about who you use those practical jokes on.

[Zeratul2k]

* Turns around at Emiko. *

Loki: Oh, hey! Hmm... here, take this.

* Loki takes the shortsword and gives it to Emiko. *

Loki: I went to the blacksmith to get a gift for my daughter and that ended up with me. You can keep it if you want it.

[Freya]

*Emiko is stunned*

Emiko: You have a daughter?

*Being slightly taken aback, Emiko resorts to her defense mechanism*

Emiko: Was that some kind of twisted joke too then? "Don't worry babe, I got protection"

*Emiko starts to back away*

Emiko: I'll bet when she found out she was pregnant you just laughed. You're sick!

*Not even realizing she was holding the short-sword he had given her, Emiko runs to the girls and mingles in with them so Loki won't come after her*
