Journey to Erehwon The game begins

*Merenwen sighed. I hate walking! It's soooooo tiring... Flying is much easier... Merenwen sighed again. Why do humans have to eat that much?*

*Rune followed everyone else, looking at the sighing Merewen* I wonder what's wrong with her...

Chichi: Hey Rune you sure you're okay with walking...

*Rune looks at the floating spirit and gulps nervously before nodding and grinning.* Rune: Uh...yeah, Chichi, the ground's fine...I mean walking is fine.

Chichi, shakes his head(w/c is his whole body): You really have to overcome that silly fear of yours...

Run, scowls and whispers: It's not a silly fear,okay. I just prefer walking than...flying. *Rune quietly follows everyone, increasing her pace.*

*On the way, Tim is his usual self, happily trying to find out about the new men in the group.*

Tim: Hi, I'm Tim, you're the guy that Morphin says is evil, kind of. What's your name? ......... That's an odd name, Maurice, where have I heard that before? What are you doing here, this isn't a very evil place. Merenwen said that the underworld has things like torture and stuff, wouldn't that be more evil? ............ Oh, you need to do some things to get into evil school. Well, that makes sense. Hey, when we get to Erehwon, the oracle is going to tell us the answers to everything, I'll bet it will tell you how to be the best evil ever. *Tim walks away.* Oh, ya, Maurice was John Wayne's real name.

Tim: Hi, I'm Tim, what's your name. ............... Well, nice to meet you Zwerver. What are you here for. ............ Hey, I'm a traveler too, but soon I'll have all the data balls then we can find Erehwon and get all the answers to everything. ...... Ya, then I guess I would always know where I'm going. It's going to be amazing knowing everything. See ya. *Tim moves on.*

Tim: Hi I'm Tim, who are you. ............ What are you in this land for, Dave? ......... You don't know. That's strange. Where are you from? ......... How can you not know where your from? Everyone knows where their from, I'm from Iowa. .......... You don't remember. ............. You don't remember much of anything? I knew a really old guy who lost all his rememberies, you aren't old are you? ............. I didn't think so. Where did you lose them, I'll help find them. ............ Oh, I suppose it doesn't work like that. I know, when we get to Erehwon, the oracle is going to tell us the answers to life, the universe and everything. I'll ask it to tell you everything about yourself, then you will know all about what you can't remember. Well, hope you find those rememberies soon. *Tim hurries on*

*Emiko watches Tim*

Emiko: freaking hyper twerp

*The group rounded a bend in the road, the road widened into the main street of a small town. In the early morning light, the town marketplace was just coming to life. There were colorful booths of many kinds, cloths, spices, tools, food. Tim was amazed, he had never seen such an assortment of goods in one place. He was sure they would soon have everything they needed.*

Tim: Look everybody, we can get all the things we need for the journey. Isn't this great?

*Tim leads the way, Merwen is close behind, by Clyde, with Faelyn riding on he shoulder.*

Faelyn: He may be a hyper jerk, but he did find us a great place to shop, just look at all this, I think I could spend all day shopping here.

*Tim quickly runs up to the first booth, there are fresh baked rolls and dough nuts, and cakes, and pies. Tims eyes get big*

Tim: Oooo, I'd like some of those, and some of those those too and.......

*The woman behind the cart of goods looks at the group, and wide eyed, backs up against the building.

Woman: Take.......take anything...... but don't hurt us. *She screams out* It's THEM, they've come. Everyone hide.

*The woman grabs a child who has come out of the building and quickly goes inside and slams the door. Up and down the street, people are looking toward the group. Soon a murmur starts, along the street, in moments it turns to shouts and hurrying people.

Crowd: "It's them, Oh lord get the kids inside. Hurry get the door locked before they attack. There's no time just leave the goods, get away, while you can. Oh, gawd, they have a whole army."

Tim: Where? Who's them? Where's the army? Why is everyone running? What's going on?

[Zeratul2k]

* Loki, still in cat form, climbed on the table with the bread and helped himself to some of it. *

Loki: Ignore them, kid, they are craaaaaaazy!

[Freya]

*Emiko looks around at everyone running and as the last person tries to get away she grabs him by the arm*

Emiko: Hey Kid. What's the word on the street?

[Bertrand]

Zwerver sidestepped to avoid a group of fleeing villagers, not really sure what to think of all he was seeing. As far as he could tell, it was the very hyperactive member of the group that started the whole commotion--but he wasn't going to say anything until he knew for sure what was causing all this.
With that thought aside, he went back to dodging frightened village people.

Merenwen: Let's start the shopping!

*Merenwen walked to the nearest stall and looked at the goods, looking whether there was something useful and helped herself if there was. She stopped at one of them.*

Merenwen: Ooh! Look here. Books on magic. Emiko, maybe you should take one of these.

*Then she sees she's holding someone.*

Merenwen: But it can wait ^^

Loki: Woo! Free fish!

* Loki jumped from the booth he was in into another one deeper into the street. On the way he passed next to Emiko. *

Loki: I'd answer her right away, boy. She's armed and dangerous.
