Re: Fan Service! (Men only)
Well, not really, but fo r avery good reason: When directors and animators focus on fanservice, they forget about the plot.
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph... because good is DUMB!

Well see, I've always just been about plot...well actually...lol...head overloads... What I like is Char, I think people miss that, as long as you have lovable chars, you'll have at least a fairly good story. I really don't understand the whole "relating to a char", you don't have to relate to a char to like a story. Thats where a lot of good comics seem to fall now-a-days, plus the whole "make it real"

I enjoy a bit of fanservice, if it's done right. Check out Goldenboy, that has lots of fanservice and lots of plot. Fanservice can add a lot of humor to an anime.

Ah, Golden Boy, that one is an exception to the rule, yeah.

Re: Fan Service! (Men only)
there are probably other exceptions (cant think of any right now
) that would give a good series but still have fanservice.

Najika, Blitz Tactics, was a pretty good series, not spectacular but the plot is entertaining. And oh, the fanservice. Every shot is from ground angle.
