Yup, it was on the 12th, Abe Lincoln's birthday......... my mom was going to name me Abraham, but my dad wouldn't have it....... thankfully.
Get to go see Dinky's little guy, we babysit him tomorrow. He's such a cute little guy. His mommy was a cute little baby too. I should find some of her baby pictures, you guys would love it.

If you ever need the steps and settings to convert dvd's into something you can play on your galaxy, but give me a holler. I have that down to an art.

I've been converting with handbrake to the screen size of 480x320 into mpeg4. It seems to work pretty well. I did put a couple mpegs on without reducing the screen size and they played fine, but if the screen is only that resolution, why would I leave the file size that big?
The nice thing if I bought Arcsoft's converter would be that it automatically adjusts to the device hooked to the computer, converts the file and installs it on the device. You pay for the convenience and versatility but i guess I don't really need it. It's not expensive so I'll think about it.

480x320 is your screen resolution? You must not have what i thought to had.
The resolution on my phone is 800x480. I don't have to shrink down any dvd's to play them.

I don't need to shrink things for them to play, I just suppose it's easier for the machine to play at it's native resolution.

This is the one I have, it was cheap and the picture is pretty good. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mp3-pl ... -GS1CB/XAA

The player 4 has the higher resolution screen, but it's also about 80 bucks more money. And at only .4 inches bigger, do I really need more resolution?

The only time it would become an issue is if you tried to play something with subtitles. At 320x240 it becomes almost imposible to read subtitles.
