*Keon walked the distance from the last subway station to the small abandoned office building he used for his rooms. He'd been lucky to find the plumbing in the building still working, once he turned on the main water line. The building was stark and empty, except for his sleeping mat and few other belongings. Keon sat against a wall and let his mind reach out. He couldn't detect anything in the area except the few mice and rats, that was good. He got up and checked his food supply, there wasn't much left. He took out some dried meat, bread, and a bottle of beer. Soon he'd have to go outside the city and search for some salvage he could sell. His money was too low to buy any more food. Maybe he'd get lucky and find some cash, like he had when he found that wallet in that ruined house.*

*Keon went to sleep that night, thinking of the people he'd met. The ones to avoid, and the ones who had seemed to be friends, Hikori, Evangeline, Jennifer, but mostly of Toru and pretty blue eyed Kaede.*

[Raine]

Rina:Hmm,it's Aki-san....picking up Toru i see.

*Kaede took Rina's hand and huried down the other road.she could not let Aki-san see her,they were just in time to board a train that connected to the other part of the city.*

Rina:Hey!!!what gives??

Kaede:I got save by Toru today...I just hope Aki-san don't tell mum.

Rina:I dont know why you wont tell mum what really happen two years ago...i bet she'd understand..

Kaede:I did tell them the truth,they didn't believe me...for some reason they didnt believe me,they actually think i did.

*Rina stared at her sister in shock,it was weird to hear that her parents would actually think Kaede would do such a thing,could it be realated to Kaede's Past.whenever she question her parents about it,they avoid the subject,somehow she felt they knew more than they are telling.and right now kaede is losing trustand faith in our family...now i understand why she's been shutting herself to us.*

Rina:Did they say that to you?!

Kaede:you could see it in their eyes....*she made a sad face*they were frightened.

*Rina rested her head on her sister's arm,Kaede smile and pat her on her head*

Kaede:Forget what i said rina...I am sure they were just afriad of me going to jail or something *she lied as she tried laugh jokingly*

*30 minutes later they arrive in front of a huge gate,and as the gates open one of the guards ran to them*

Guard:Onegai!!!The two of you should not walk alone!!i am assign to protect you,how can i protect you if you dont wait for me at school!!!

Rina:*sticks out her Tongue*:I dont want anyone to know im the daughter of Miri-Mizaki....and that man

Kaede:Sorry,Asa-san maybe next time

*Sitting in her Office she stared at the ceiling after a while she slam her hand on the table*

Miri:The generators are being sabotage,so many people were injured??who would do such a thing??Must be people who wants to use magic...A race is going agaist us perharps??

Agnus:Who knows....you didnt agree to the idea of putting an anti-magic field,you anticipated this happening right???sooner or later they would have gone agaist it...just needed time.


Miri:I know!!!But does it have to hurt inocent people!!!so many people are injured because of this!!!

Agnus:what ar you going to do??

Miri:*smirks*Don't worry..I have a few ideas

* In the military sector of the city, in a tall building, several people had gathered for an urgent meeting. All of them were human and while most were wearing expensive-looking suits, some were wearing full dress military uniforms. They were siting around an oval table, discussing heatedly. *

General: These attacks cannot go unpunished! We HAVE to round up these terrorists and--

Suited man 1: Don't even finish that phrase, general. We have a bad enough rep thanks to your troops' abuse of power.

Lieutenant General: In any case, we have to increase the defenses in and around the generators. At this rate, it won't be long before we have riots... with magic users, no less!

Suited man 2: There will be a significant media backslash.

Suited man 1: That's only if we don't play our cards right. There have been many wounded, from several different species. We can just say it's for everyone's safety.

Suited man 3: They'll say that if the generators weren't placed in the first place, this wouldn't happen.

Suited man 2: Exactly. Still, lieutenant general Morris is right. We have to increase the generators' defenses, at least for now.

General: I will take care of that.

Suited man 1: Good. Now, do we have any clues on who did all this?

Tech expert: Unfortunately, the attackers have been very careful. From the little surviving video footage, we calculate the attacks have been executed by a group of 2 or 3 highly trained professionals.

Morris: I only see 1 in the videos...

Tech Expert: Maybe, but if that's the case it would have to be someone with teleporting abilities WHILE the generator is still active. That's just not possible.

General: Never mind that, go on.

Tech Expert: Yes. After the attack, we have managed to intercept a single outstanding transmission from the attacked area. It's a text message reporting the destruction of the generator.

General: Can you track it?

Tech Expert: Yes, but both the sender and receiver used stolen phones, and discarded them immediately after. We found the devices, but we don't even have fingerprints.

Suited man 2: Bastards...

* The discussion finished shortly after, the general and Morris meeting in the hall. *

General: I want you to triple security on all remaining generators.

Morris: Of course, sir.

[Raine]

*Inside the Mizaki's Resident the two girl's ate their dinner and then headed to bed,their parents were still not home and poor rina wanting the attention of her parents lied to kaede just so she can sleep next to her.the two slept unaware that someone had open the door to find them sleeping,he smile at the sight and close the door.*

<<Morning>>

*Kaede was running as usual to catch the bus,rina didnt wake her up as usual and went to school without her.she ran pass many people on the way and reach just in time as the door close to enter the train.she sigh in relief and took a seat next to the window.*

Kaede:I made it...thank god.


<<Nilina>>


Nilina out stretched her hands as she walk down the road waving at every villagers...she smile and nodded at everyone who talk to her.The aqualinian really respected each other.Her sister older Inase was walking beside her*

Inase:Excited to go to school?its very different from the one you use to attend in the village?

Nilina:I am!!I hear that you even can even study combat skills....now i can be stronger

*Inase paused and stroke her fingers alongside her forehead,it wasnt the first time they argued about fighting*

Inase:Ive told you before.....You don't have to train yourself,you are to marry the strongest warrior,it is a man's duty to protect his wife...You should be grateful that the chief decided this..and not make you a warrior

Nilina*Frowns*:I am only to bear him a child,A child who will have my golden eyes....

Inase:It cant be help...your eyes are different from ours...you have the blessing of our God.*Inase touch her sister's cheek looking at her bright Golden eyes*

Nilina:I understand...
*Inase smile at her sister and wave goodbye as she entered the flower shop where she works,Nilina proceeded down the road and head to school,her mind more determine to become stronger

[Hiki]

*Evangeline was up early and quickly prepared everything she needed. She waited for her sister to wake up, ate breakfast with her and then headed out. She walked to the front gates of the school and waited there.*

*Meanwhile, another girl was preparing for school. Her mother was fussing about her health and really didn't want her daughter to go yet.*

Rosalynn's mum: Are you sure you're feeling okay? It's okay if you stay another day. You won't miss much.

Rosalynn: Yes, mother, I am just fine. Please don't worry.

*Rosalynn's mother smiled and hugged her daughter.*

Rosalynn's mum: Alright then. Have fun at school, dear.

Rosalynn: Thanks!

*With that, Rosalynn was off to school. She was excited to go to school again. She had missed the last month of school, but fortunately her neighbour's daughter, Evangeline, was in the same class and passed on the homework so Rosalynn wouldn't fall behind. When she arrived at school, Rosalynn saw Evangeline waiting. Evangeline waved slightly and Rosalynn nodded. Then Rosalynn walked on to her first class, hoping to see some of her friends there.*

* Hiroki woke up earlier than the day before, preparing himself a big bento and eating what he couldn't fit in the box as breakfast. He took his backpack after taking a quick shower and changing into his uniform, jogging to the school again. He slowed to a walk a few meters from the entrance once he saw Evangeline, and went to greet her. *

Hiroki: Good morning, Evangeline-san. How are you?

* In the "suburbs", one of the many middle-class sectors of the city, Kenji Ishida headed to school, looking bored. He took the subway, wondering if he should skip school again. He had called in sick the day before, but using the same trick two days in a row wouldn't work, probably. He sighed, keeping a hand on his crossbow as the doors opened. That thing had a knack for getting caught on the weirdest of places. He walked the rest of the way to the school, noticing Evangeline waiting on the school gate. He had seen her several times before, but had never gathered the courage to go talk with her. He straightened, thinking this was as good a chance as any, but before he could greet her, a smiling, black haired guy approached her. "There goes my chance", he thought as he slumped and simply walked inside the school. *

[Raine]

*Before Kenji could go inside,kaed sligthly bump into him,she turn and bow apolgising before running to meet hiroki an eva-san*

Kaede:Morning,

*Meanwhile Nilina came to kenji,seeing that he had been bump into,*

Nilina:Um hi,are you okay??...

*she smile at him leaning her head slightly*

* Kenji stared back at Kaede as she ran towards Evangeline and Hiroki, wondering what her rush was. He heard someone talking to him, and he quickly turned around to see who it was. *

Kenji: Oh, hey there. Yeah, I'm ok just... thinking what that was about.

* He scratched his head while pointing in Kaede's general direction with his other hand. *

Kenji: But anyway, I'm good, Thanks for asking. Good morning, by the way.

* Meanwhile, Hiroki noticed Kaede and smiled at her. *

Hiroki: Well, hello there miss delinquent.

* He said, teasing her, hoping he wouldn't be going too far with the joke. *

[Raine]

*Kaede made a small awkward laugh at Hiroki's joke*

Kaede:Im early...I thought i was late *she sulk*

*Kaede look back to where she had bump into a boy hoping he would forgive her,she sees him talking to a pretty girl with red hair,she had the most gentle face,like and angel.she wish she had that kind of features*


*Nilina scratched her head,she really didnt know why someone was hurrying so early in the morning*

Nilina:Maybe,she's happy...My name is Nilina washiro i just got transfer to the school

*she bow at him*

Nilina:Nice to meet you!!!


*A crowd of boys and girls stood looking at the new girl*

Stundents:she's really pretty....

Hiroki: Yeah, you should check your clock more often, then.

* He said with a laugh. Kenji, in the meantime, smiled at Nilina. *

Kenji: Nice to meet you, my name's Kenji Ishida. In what class are you, Nilina-san?

* He asked, hoping she didn't mind him calling her by her first name. *
