And after the shift I had yesterday (my laboring mom ended up with an emergency c-section for serious complications- very scary and I was the lucky one who got to take her back to surgery.... even though I wasn't technically certified to do it yet.... because there was no one else. My thoughts by the end of the day: Well, I didn't make any catastrophic mistakes, and my pt and her baby were still alive. Relieved sigh), I need a break!
Now all I have to do is plan a baby shower for my little sister in 2 days since it seems my mother and older sister don't really know how to do these things.
