*Keon watched the exchange between Lila and Kaede. Again he could feel something in the girl that he didn't like, something dark. I don't think Kaede is the monster here. Keon picked up his lunch, he'd told the blue haired girl that he would join them for lunch, but where was that? Most students went out on the lawn, maybe he could see them from the roof....... And that's where Kaede had gone.*

*Keon found his way up to the roof. He looked out over the campus, but couldn't locate Evangeline. He looked around the roof and saw Kaede. Keon sat back against a was, a short distance from the girl. He didn't want her to get upset with him, and he wasn't sure what to say, but....*

Keon looking down: When I I landed on top of you, it was a good....*Keon turned red faced*..... ah, no, I mean, the monster was going to attack right where you were, so I had to..... I'm sorry if it seemed like, um. *Keon turned even redder, and furiously attacked his bento box. That hadn't come out right at all.*

[Raine]

*Kaede look at keone,and giggle.eversince hiroki and keone had come to the school she had found herself giggling and laughing more*

Kaede:Its okay,no one would have done what you just did so im just grateful for that....

*she said hugging her knees,she was leaning agaist the railing*

Kaede:They wont be happy if you're here with me....the cafeteria is just to the right down the stairs..

*Keon smiled a little, at least she didn't seem upset with him. That was something new. Maybe, if he just kept his hat on....But he could hardly believe what she just said. Such pretty girls always had boys ready to defend them.*

Keon: It's just, kind of, what I can do. But, girls like you, they always have friends who will....... *Keon looked down again, not boys like me though. Um, so that other girl doesn't eat out on the lawn? *Keon spoke quietly, at his bento box.* If I went down to the cafeteria, would you go with me Matsune-san. I, um, I don't do things like this, and, well, you know some of these people. *Keon was getting so nervous his hands started shaking.*

[Raine]

Kaede:You mean eva-san *she stands and points at the group of girls walking towards a sakura tree*you wouldnt have problem finding your way overthere...I-if i go they wont talk to me..

*Kaede walk slowly to sit next to keone,her blue eyes staring at him*

Kaede:Are you hiding something underneath your hat?no?...can i just sit here for a while with you?? i dont mind if you ignore me after wards...*kaede felt very sleepy,hear head fell on keone's shoulder and she stated to sleep for a while*

i am so tired....

* Hiroki didn't say anything else. He also ignored Lila's scathing comments about Kaede, not feeling up to it. He headed outside after buying a bento, looking for a place he could sit and be on his own, taking his backpack with him. He sat by a tree in the back of the main building, where there seemed to be the less amount of people, and took the bento, eating it slowly. He was still thinking of the fight, unsure of how to feel. His father had always taught him the value of survival, of staying alive to fight another day, so why did that monster did what it did? He used the last of his energy to attack them. Was it because there were four people attacking him? He looked back, trying to remember who had made the first strike, but couldn't remember. He sighed, sure that the staff would have provoked it into attacking, anyhow. He set his bento aside, he had hardly eaten any, but he had lost his appetite. *

Hiroki: I wonder if this is why dad sent me here...

*Keon doesn't know what to do. No girl had been friendly with him, they wouldn't lower themselves to touch him, but now Kaede was sleeping on his shoulder. Keon sat stiff as a rock, he just didn't know what to do. He was even afraid to try to eat his food. Slowly and carefully he turned his head to look at Kaede, such shining black hair and (Kaede turned and looked up at him) such crystal blue eyes.*

Keon: I really did promise to meet with the blue haired girl's group. Would you go with me? *Kaede nodded and then followed Keon down the stairs.*

*Keon felt elated. Maybe he could have a friend here. Maybe it was because she was lonely, just like he was. Maybe Keon should have been more alert to his surroundings. They had almost made it to the door when their way was blocked by three upper class boys. The largest looked down at Keon.*

Boy: SO, they're accepting primary schoolers now. I thought this was high school. *He laughed* Maybe you're just this witches imp. What's with the stupid hat.

*The tall boy made a grab for Keon's hat but Keon avoided his hand. Keon was angry, he looked the boy straight in the eye.*

Keon: NO, you won't take my hat, and you better apologize to Matsune-san.

The boy looked at Keon a moment then at Kaede: Sorry about that girl, just joking. *He turned away.* I didn't want that dumb looking hat anyway.

*One of the other boy's looked at his friend with surprise, then spun toward Keon.*

Boy 2: Well, I do.

*Keon had been concentrating on the first boy, and was surprised when the second grabbed his hat. He was barely able to grab it himself and hold it down on his head. The boy swung his fist at Keon, but by now Keon had recovered and avoided the blow. The bigger boy used his size to shove Keon back against the wall, ready to take another swing. There was a muffled pop and the boy fell backward, jerking like he was having a seizure. Keon grabbed Kaede's hand and, in the confusion, headed out the door.*

*Keon pulled Kaede along near the building, out of the sight of all the kids looking at the confusion at the doorway. He found a space under the tree, just on the edges of the group around the girl Evangeline and sat down. Then realized he was holding Kaede's hand. Keon turned furiously red.*

Keon: oh.... I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. I was just trying to get out before any trouble started. *Keon saw Kaede's shocked expression. Again, afraid he'd upset her.* He'll be alright, in a while. He'll be missing the next class hour, and have a nasty bruise but..... *Keon was afraid he'd done it this time. She'd probably seen his gun, and, he'd held her hand, pulled her after him. Even though he was just trying to keep her from getting into any trouble.* I'm really sorry, Matsune-san.

[Hiki]

*Evangeline just went with it. She wasn't sure how to react to Kaede. She didn't seem like a person to stay away from even though her friends had told her to. Her friends wouldn't lie, right?
Before she knew it, her friends had already dragged her away. They changed back in their uniforms and went to the tree where they usually had lunch.*

Elena: Pffft, why don't you get to be in our group, Vangy?

Evangeline: It's not that bad, really..

Mia: I'm sure you'll get transfered if you ask. I mean, we've always been a team. You, Elena, Jen and me. Don't get me wrong, Jimmy, you're cool too.

*It was her usual group of friends and Evangeline enjoyed their company. Sure, she would've liked to be in their team as always, but she really didn't mind being with the others.*

Evangeline: It's okay--

Mia: It's not! You're in the same team as her! You'll try to become friends, as you always do, and then you'll end up like--

Evangeline: Alright, enough. It was the teacher's choice and nothing will change that. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pee.

*She got up and started walking, only to almost walk into Keon and Kaede.*

Evangeline: Oh, hi there.

[Zeratul2k]

* Hiroki got up and threw his almost full bento in the garbage, mumbling to himself while wandering with no set destination. A couple minutes later he found Kaede, Keon and Evangeline and decided to walk towards them. *

Hiroki: Well, what do we have here? How's life treating you all?

* He said, faking a smile. He still didn't feel like doing much, but he had hoped to make a good first impression, so he decided to stick around instead of being all emo. *

*Keon looked up at Evangeline, he thought they might not be noticed and he could still claim to have been there, but now that exotically beautiful girl was right in front of him. What could he say? This was beyond all his experience.

Keon: Ah.... I came.

*Keon wanted to crawl off and bury himself when Evangeline's friends started laughing. Damn, that was smooth,now they all think I'm a fool. Why can't I be like that other guy, Hiroki. He's so smooth, he seems to know what to say.

Keon: I mean, you asked me to.....

*Just then, of all things, Hiroki walked up and greeted the group.*

*Kaede was enjoying keone's company,she had seen the weapon but wasnt bothered cause she guessed he didnt know weapons were allowed in school just not to be use agaist students.when the two had walk to them kaede felt nervous since eva was talking to them,even her*

Kaede:Hi,um Keone-san wanted to take the invitation of eating with you...he got lost so i had to show him the* way.

*Kaede look at hiroki,she realise he was faking his smile,she has had much experience with fake smiling in this school,so it got her worried when hiroki smile like that*

Kaede:Sorry,did i do something wrong??
