Finished the last coat of paint in the last room to paint in the house..........Yea!!!!!! Now I just have to put the things back together and It's done. (It's a bathroom so there's mirror, towel bars etc.) Now maybe I can get at my basement room and getting my stuff organized. Just have to build a wall, wire in electric and put up the sheetrock....... nothing much....... sigh.

Sheetrock(also known as drywall) is a product that is user to cover the boards (studs) in a wall of a building.
Sheetrock is a sheet of compressed powdered gypsum between two sheets of thick paper.
It is strong enough to take small impacts without breaking. Flexable enough to be easily repaired, Won't normally crack as a building settles, and can have nails and screws easily put into.
It is also is fire resistant, so it slows down the spead of a fire.

PS. Hope you feel better soon.

I have my new teeth, the bridgework anyway. Nice to have that gap on the one side filled after it being there forty years. The only problem is the 3500 bucks it cost to do it........... are we in the wrong business???

I went and bought the lumber and electrical supplies to get started on my room. It's a pretty good size pile and only 350 bucks. Compared to teeth, you get a lot more for your money.

I have considered it.........

I got my old truck sold today. Only got 800 for it, I wanted 1000 but no buyers at that price. Oh well, it's gone.

Started putting up the wall studs, only cut two off to short so far.

You didn't buy the precut ones? I know they are a little more expesive, but they are definently worth it.

Studs are precut to 8 feet or 7 feet. With the top and bottom plates in an 8 foot room, I have to cut a few inches off of every one. Since the floor or ceiling aren't perfectly flat, each one is a bit different.

Just bought a wireless mouse for 14 bucks at Best Buy. It works a lot better drawing with GIMP that my track ball did. I like the trackball for general stuff, but it is a lot harder to be accurate drawing lines with it.
