Evangelion was much, much, much more popular than Rahxephon. From the studio's POV, the victor between the two is clear.

I myself, found both Evangelion & RahXephon to be OK to watc, bearing in mind that I really don't like Mecha. But the little mecha that could in my book would be Argento Soma.

I am just so done with all these bad 80's cartoon movies, the best so far (not meaning they were great, just the best) He-man and transformers.
