I'm trying to download 218gb torrent with my old computer, twice now u torrent has shut off, or the computer has rebooted while I was gone. I've got 65 gigs so far, says two more days, if all goes well.

Yup, I think I'm dying from this cold............. You know the drill, achy, tired, sore throat, runny nose. I guess I was built upside down, my nose runs and my feet smell........ alright, cut the groans.

The winter storm was as bad as predicted, or worse. 45cm of snow and a lot of wind. The highways were closed out here yesterday. My driveway is a few feet deep in snow, my truck is kind of buried. I really don't feel like getting the snow blower out........ maybe tomorrow.

We have some strong winds around here lately... not typhoon-strong, mind you, but still annoying when it keeps THROWING SAND ON YOUR FACE...

I decided to stay home from work yesterday so I didn't have to drive in the snow at all.
I got about a foot of snow at my house but because of the wind I had a drift in the middle of my driveway the was about 3 feet deep (a little under a meter). I had to under-cut it with the snow blower, let the top snow fall and then go over the area again.

I had to get a local farmer with a tractor snow blower and bucket to clear out my drive. My little blower just wouldn't make it.

and I'm still dying from this cold........... a long and tortured death.
