*Ran entered the classroom, she looked around till she saw Vince, then walked up to him. Ran was sure she knew all about boys, from the books, movies and magazines she 'd seen, Especially the 'adult' True Romance magazines she got by threatening her house maid. She knew her large lavender eyes and innocent look always worked on the young men who worked for her father. Ran used her best adoring smile on the taller boy.*

Ran: I think you're a very good pilot, Vince. I know you would have won, if you'd had a better IC. I'm sure you'll find the right one.


*Tan was stopped in the hallway by Lara. He tried to evade her and get into the classroom, but she wouldn't let him by. No one else was left in the hallway........ Tan was sure he was going to get beat up again.*

Lara: I can take care of myself. Why did you say those things to Ran? Why did you say I'm a good pilot? You beat me.

Tan: Because it's true. Ran had no reason to say those things. You're a good pilot, you started off better than I did. You're tactics would have worked if your mech hadn't broken. I'm sure, when you find a better.......... ah, a more compatible IC, you'll be very hard to defeat.

*Lara was still fuming from being beaten by this wimp. She wanted to hate him...... but, she desperately wanted what he said to be true.*

Lara: You have weird eyes. *She turned and stalked into the classroom.*

Tan sighed: Ya, I know...... *He followed into the room, looking for a desk in the back.*

Vanilla: Nice to meet you too. I'm Vanilla and this is Nila. Are you going for pilot or IC?

*A lot more questions popped up in Vanilla's head, but she kept them to herself. She didn't want the others to think she was rude.*

*Tan found a seat at the back of the room. He found it easier to try to keep to himself. He saw Vanilla with a group of girls. It had been more than exciting to have piloted the mech with her as his IC. She's such a pretty girl........ but Tan knew, pretty girls weren't interested in guys like him, not for long. Tan noticed Ran over by Vince. She was all over him like a bee on clover. It must be alright for a girl to be small and unusual, Tan had seen how several of the boys had followed her. Once again he wondered how she could look so much like him. He didn't think he had any family, no one had ever told him of any. But how could this be a coincidence?*

Ursula: I'm going to be Ryu's partner, so if he's piloting, I'll have to be his IC.

* Ursula spoke as if she knew matter of fact. Ryu watched Ran talk to Vince and noticed Tan walking into the classroom. He went towards Tan. *

Ryu: That was a really good show you gave back there, showing that other girl like that. Where are you from, kid?

*Tan was surprised that someone had come to talk to him.*

Tan: Ah.... thanks. I'm, well I don't know where I was born, but I grew up in state orphanages.

[Hiki]

Vanilla: How cool! Then we're all ICs. Are you Ryu's friend? Since you're certain you'll be his IC.. I'm going to be an IC because of my little brother. He said he wanted to become a pilot and that he wanted me to be his IC.

*Vanilla chuckled.*

Vanilla: He's much too young now, though, so he's going to have to wait a few more years..

[Zeratul2k]

Ryu: Ohhh...

* Ryu looked down, not knowing what to say after that. Ursula, on the other hand, happily took Vanilla's hand as she talked, her eyes almost glistening. *

Ursula: That's so cool, good for you two! I need to try harder, then!

* Ryu leaned on the desk next to Tan's. *

Ryu: I heard you say before that they showed you how to pilot mechs there. Why would they do something like that?

Tan: Well, they sent me to a military school. We had training in a lot of the stuff you would learn in boot camp. Survival stuff, fighting, guns, and the like. They tried to find what we were good at. I wasn't much good at weapons or hand combat. *Tan looked away.* As you could probably guess. But, I was good at computers, and they said I was a good pilot. *Tan smiled* Best in my class.

Ryu: Well, looks like you'll have lots of competition here for that position. That dude Grey is specially interesting...

* Grey opened the door of the classroom and took a look before walking in. Shala was behind him, still looking angry. *

Ryu: Well, speak of the devil...

* Grey shot a glare at Ryu, who answered with a smile. *

Grey: What was that?

Ryu: Easy, champ. We were just remembering how you punched that second year... several times!

* Ryu made punching motions as he spoke. Ursula tilted her head to see what was going on at the back of the classroom. *

Ursula: Oh, lookie, lookie!

Grey: Maybe I can show you some of those moves later... if you can stand them.

* Ryu stared at Grey for a few seconds, wondering just how many scorpions Grey had had for breakfast. *

Ryu: I think I'll pass, thankyouverymuch!

[Raine]

*nila watch the events occurring she sign,what a handful but she was having fun*

Nila :*looks at Grey and ryu and starts giggles*...those two remind me of them..

*when victoria walked in she nearly drop her books,nila was giggling*
