Crazy....... this is crazy. 2.15 billion transistors on one chip. Insanely fast gaming graphics, and later this year, 6 monitors running from one video card. ATI just put out one of it's occasional surprises for the nvidia people.

Re: Random moments of crazyness
Let's put it this way, each transistor in a graphics card it's like a tiny person painting the scenes that get shown on your screen. Since there are a lot of things getting shown on your screen when you're gaming (with demanding special effects like blooming and High Dynamic Range), these little painting persons have a lot of stuff to do and can get overworked. This, in turn, means every frame of the nifty animations in your game will take more time to draw. The solution (part of it, actually) it's to hire more of these painters, which is what ATI just did. They went from 959 million painters (transistors) to more than double, 2154 million.

Re: Random moments of crazyness
Depends on the brand and size of the pin. The ISO approved standard pin size WOULD allow for no more than 4 angels but the same standard also includes weight restrictions that, again, WOULD restrict it to no angels at all.

Re: Random moments of crazyness
Alright, I have a question...
Why are all my books ('cept for phonetics) boring? :3 And why is my Vocab book a complete and utter waste of anyone's time? :3

Because (as I ranted in the oh-so-inappropriate topic 'favorite lyrics') SCHOOL IS A WASTE OF TIME!!
I think the only reason it exists is to keep kids busy from 8am to 3pm, and then an hour or two in the evenings with homework (if they're good kiddos who do their homework, unlike I was until college... *ahem* sorry Oldwrench...). Honestly, it's the government's way of keeping kids off the streets and 'out of trouble'. And a way to squelch their creativity so they'll eventually accept a boring, 'grown up' job.
As my son has taught me : "Uh oh! Broken!" refering to a stencil drawn number 5. I've been taught to see it as a number, he's seeing it for what it is: a bunch of disconnected lines that could be anything!
Ah... hee hee hee... what is wrong with me today??
Uh, learning is good?
