Sogencon starts tomorrow. I have to head there tonight to help setup since I am on staff. I can't wait. This is going to be fun.

Tomorrow's a holiday (Battle of Boyacá) and I have Saturday off at work, so I'm going to Santa Marta for a well deserved rest... sort of. I still have to code a couple of apps and grade some exercises from the students in my class...

I'm here........ at Sogen con that is. JH is here working on the staff. We are all having a good time. I bought an Eva 01, you know what it is if you watched Neon Genisis Evangelion. I bought some art and have met a couple more voice actors...... nice people. I've taken some of my infamous bad pictures. I mightr even share a few if you are nice to me. We got to watch the first 4 episodes of Kaze no Stigma with Josh Grelle, the voice actor for Ren in the series. It was really quite good, wind and fire magic, and some very nice humor in it. I'll tell you more after I get back home. I want to go to the panel tomorrow named "My Parents Don't Get It." I might have a bit of a different perspective on it......... I'm the oldest here, by quite a few years.

Dinky's family made it to their apartment in Savanna Georgia. hope everything goes well for them this year. Maybe Dinky will be able to spend a bit of time here with us.
