Re: Gakkou
*After the bit about telling Aki she was going to transfer schools the little kitsune went berserk. Her eyes widened and she started trembling. Then the shouting came, Aki had yelled at her father and Kyo yelled back. Not even Ai could calm even one of them down. Daiki shook his head and half-massaged his ears, it was still ringing from the loud voices. Aki was forbidden to attend school today so he left the Ayashi residence by himself, he entered his classroom and sat down next to Kimara.*
Daiki: Ohayou, Kimara.
*The dog-demon looked at him, startled then she hid something behind her.*
Kimara: Oha-ohayou Daiki-kun.
Daiki: What's that? *Daiki tried to peer around Kimara but Kimara didn't let him.*
Kimara: what's what?
Daiki: You're hiding something...lemme see. *Daiki leaned in closer and Kimara blushed, Daiki easily caught her hand and brought it forward. He saw the box and examined it curiously. A little beaten, not exactly in the best conditions but the box itself, even if it didn't look new, spoke of elegance. And it looked expensive too. Daiki grinned at Kimara.* A gift, Kima-chan? *Daiki used the nickname Rina often used around the dog-girl and she blushed some more.* Who's the guy, eh?
*Kimara blinked and shook her head. She had to focus. She didn't exactly know what Daiki's reaction to the bracelet was going to be but she expected that it wasn't going to be too good. But she wasn't really all that adept at lying.*
Kimara: It's not mine...it's for Aki-ch-chan. I...it's from Michael-sempai.
*At Michael's name Daiki backed off, a small frown marring his face. Kimara sighed, Daiki then put the box on her table. Well, it's good that he didn't do anything to it.*
Daiki: Why do you have it then?
Kimara: Eh...well, you see...I think Michael-sempai intended to give it to Aki-chan earlier but he didn't get the chance...I saw him throw it in the trash with a bouquet of flowers...*Kimara pouted.* really, sempai should know not to waste such beautiful flowers...and this gift too.
Daiki: Looks expensive.
Kimara, nodding: It is, it's from an exclusive jewelry store.
Daiki: I guess the big oaf thinks I've won.
Kimara: Eh? What do you mean?
Daiki: Nothing...but give it to Aki. *Kimara blinked in disbelief at Daiki.* Wait, you know what? I'll give it to her.
*Kimara looked suspicious.*
Kimara: How...not to be rude, but how am I going to be sure that you aren't going to throw this away?
Daiki: I won't, okay? *Daiki looked upset and Kimara felt bad.* Besides her parents might not let you see her.
Kimara: Why not?
Daiki: Don't tell this to anyone yet, alright? *Kimara nodded.* Kyo-san plans to have Aki transfer schools. They had a fight this morning because of that. I'm going to transfer with her.
*Kimara felt like she was falling. Daiki and Aki was going to leave. She was going to lose someone she loved and a dear, dear friend.*
Kimara: W-why?
Daiki: Because of Rina-chan's kidnapping. Kyo-san is set on believing that Aki is in danger if she's with Hideki and you guys. Aki protested to that and they started shouting and stuff. That's why Aki didn't come to school. Kyo-san told her that she was under house arrest until they transfered her to another school. In the end Aki couldn't do anything but follow her father.
Kimara: But...but that's not...*Kimara bit her lip, she couldn't think of what to say. Aki was going to transfer schools and she wasn't aloud out the house or to see them.*
Daiki: I know...now do you want me to give the bracelet to her, or not? I swear she'll get the bracelet.
Kimara: Alright...
Daiki: Tell the Michael-sempai that his gift is going to reach Aki. Don't tell him that she's going to transfer...not yet, anyways.
*Kimara nodded, she gave the gift to Daiki and he tucked it away in his bag. And the class started.*
Daiki: Ohayou, Kimara.

*Mike sat on his bed, what could he do? How could he go to school and see Daiki hovering over her again? Mike picked up his phone and called, on hearing his name, the comunications officer expidited his connection to the commander.*
Mike: Commander, I wish to request a transfer back to Osaka base....... The mission here has been completed sir.
*The commander looked at the report she'd just gotten, it certainly looked like nothing could have escaped the destruction at the lab...... but then, this was Kaine. More than that, she heard the catch, and the note of hurt in the boys voice. The commander had people watching <ile, she had heard of the girl he was dating, and the fact that the girl was with someone else. She felt for the young man, but this was just why she thought he needed to attend a public school.
Dommander: Request denied captain Tanaka, your mission has not been satisfactorily completed. There is no evidence that the target has been eliminated. You will continue until conclusive evidence is reported.
Mike: But he........ *Sigh* Yes sir.
Commander, softer: Michael, I know you are having a hard time right now, but this is whats real in life. You've grown up sheltered here, with no chance to experience these things. You've learned to be a good soldier, Michael, now it's time to learn to be a man. You can't run from your heart, son, you have to face life, whatever it brings you.
Mike after a long pause: I........ I'll try. *Mike closed the phone.*
*Mike was a couple hours late for classes. Selene was happy to see him and smiled for him. At least he hadn't left, she had a strong feeling that if he had left, they wouldn't have seen him again.*

*At Rina's call, Seiryu yawned and sat up in the bed that the Akiyama family had let him sleep in. He noticed right away that he was already feeling stronger and after putting on the school uniform that Kisane had left at the foot of the bed he walked downstairs and into the kitchen.*
Seiryu: Good morning everyone. I'm sorry I'm up so late, I meant to get up early and help out with the customers but it seems I haven't quite recovered yet.
*Leaving it at that, Seiryu sat down at the table where some eggs and toast were already waiting. He thanked Kisane graciously and began eating.*

Re: Gakkou
((Seems Raine jumped the game ahead a day. We had gone to the school on the day Rina woke up in the hospital as far as I could tell by the game posts. Now we're in the next day??))
*The school day had gone pretty well. Mike had tried to avoid everyone, he just didn't feel like facing them that day..... At least he didn't see Aki with Daiki, but then, she didn't seem to be around at all.*
*At his apartment that evening, Mike tried to catch his friend Yuki on line...... she wasn't on again. She hadn't been on in several days, maybe she was very busy, or....... maybe she just didn't want to chat with him anymore. Mike left her another message, last night he had told her that they had saved gotten Rina back from the kidnappers. He hadn't told the actual story, just that they had a bit of a fight, but no one was badly hurt. Mike told Yuki that he had tried to get a transfer back to Osaka, but had been refused. He told Yuki how he had gone to the hospital to see the girl he liked but she had gone with the kitsune boy. Mike told her that, at least he had kept his promise to the girls mother, he had protected her during the fight. He'd tried his best, now it seemed she preferred a different protector.*
*Another night that Mike didn't sleep well. when He did finally sleep, he slept late. Mike had to rush to try to get to school on time.*

Re: Gakkou
((It's the next day already??? Oh well...))
*Aki was on her bed, she wasn't sleeping...she was just there on her bed, looking up at the ceiling. Her father had her in a house arrest, not just grounded. She wasn't allowed out the house, she wasn't allowed to go to school even. Her computer had been confiscated as well as her cellphone and room phone. The phone downstairs was in some kind of surveillance and her father checked it when he got home. He didn't allow her any outside contact only Daiki was allowed to see her. And not that she didn't like Daiki because he was good company but really...seeing the same people for two days now without any variation was driving her nuts, the boredom creeping to her wasn't helping either.*
*A knock made Aki rose and call for whoever knocked that the door was open. Daiki peeked in.*
Daiki: Hey there...you okay?
Aki: I've been in my room since lunch yesterday! And I haven't seen or spoken to anyone except you and my parents... my computer, cellphone and room phone was confiscated. No! Of course I'm not okay! I'm going to die of boredom here! I can't even go online!!!
*Daiki sighed and entered the room, plopping next to Aki on her bed.*
Daiki: Look...this should cheer you up. *Daiki placed his bag on his lap and rummaged inside. Then he pulled out a box and handed it to Aki.*
Aki: What's this...OH! *Aki lifted the lid off and what lay inside was a pretty bracelet that matched perfectly the necklace Mike gave her before. She looked at Daiki.*
Daiki: Don't...don't thank me for that. It didn't come from me.
Aki: It didn't? From who then?
Daiki: The big oaf...
Aki: Who? The big--Oh!!! Mike-kun?
Daiki: Yeah...
*Aki looked disbelievingly at Daiki. Why would he deliver this if it was from Mike? And of course she knew that the two didn't like each other and she had a clue that it was because of her but really, since they were civilized...*
Aki: Why?
Daiki: He threw it in the trash when you were in the hospital...I guess he planned to give it you there. But you left, Kyo-san and Ai-san brought you home...forcibly - and then I went with you and I guess he got upset so he threw it. Kimara saw it and then took it, she planned to give it you but I told her your parents might not let her see you so I offered to give it to you.
Aki: I...see. Well thank you anyways for delivering it.*Aki looked mesmerized at the lovely bracelet, then snapped her head back up to look startled at Daiki.* You told Kimara-chan?
Daiki: Eh?
Aki: You told Kimara-chan that I'm going to transfer?
Daiki: Yeah, I had to...but I told her not to tell anyone else.
*Aki sighed and fell backwards on her bed and again stared at the ceiling - it seemed like that was beginning to be a hobby of hers-. She couldn't convince her father that she should just stay at the same school. The more she tried to reason out the more he seemed to get angry. Not even her mother could dissuade him and her mother usually had her father wrapped around her pinky.*
Aki: This is stupid. Papa can ground me for all I care but...I can't go to school, and he tells me I'm going to change schools. Then he takes away my computer and phones telling me that I can't have contact from the outside world... I just don't understand why Papa is being so unreasonable.
Daiki: I guess he's just really worried.
Aki: I know he's worried but does he really have to go that far? I mean we saved Rina-chan and whatever war was going to happen, we managed to avoid it, right?
Daiki: I--I'm not sure.
Aki, sitting up: What do you mean? Isn't that why the war is going to start? They needed Rina-chan but now they're gone...no one's going to start the war.
Daiki: It's not that simple Aki. You see those were the humans...they wanted to create the perfect weapon to aid them in the war, that's why they took Rina-chan...but the humans are not the only ones who want to start a war. The different races can't still fully accept each other and until they do that we can't have real peace. We may sign as many peace treaties as we want but under all that is the simmering hatred and if that hatred grows and overflows they're just going to start another war...and it'll be a never ending cycle unless we actually accept each other.
Aki: So unless everyone accept each other there will be more wars...even if we manage to prevent this one there might be another one for the next hundred years or so?
Daiki: Maybe even earlier.
Aki: I guess... this is really sucky, you know. Why can't they just accept each other? I mean why to some think they're superior because they're them?
Daiki: Believe it or not...power is everything in this world. If you have money you have power of those who don't. If you're strong you have power over those who are weak. And sometimes it can be a pretty stupid thing to desire but it's what everyone usually wants.
Aki: Well, I don't want power.
Daiki: Don't you?
*Aki looked at Daiki, he seemed serious. Aki thought about it. Did she want power? No...wait if she-- if she though about it clearly then yes, she did want power. She wanted to show that she was a full blooded kitsune to the clan she left. She wanted power to be able to protect those who were dear to her. She wanted power too, maybe for good reasons but the point there was she wanted power.*
Aki: I guess I do, too.
Daiki: You see.
*And the two kitsune talked until an hour and a half passed. Daiki got up to leave.*
Daiki: I guess I'll be going.
Aki: Yeah, thanks for visiting me...
Daiki: No problem...is there anything you want the to say to the others?
Aki: What?
Daiki: You can't speak with them with the normal means but I can deliver messages. You can write letters and I'll give it to them... Kimara-chan's pretty down since I told her you weren't allowed to attend school. Rina-chan's a bit worried, she thinks your recovering from helping saved her.
Aki: Really? *Daiki nodded and Aki jumped up, she ran to her study desk and shuffled for a piece of paper. Wrote something on it and folded it then handed it to Daiki.* Here give this to Kimara-chan, she'll know what I mean in there. Tell the others I'm sick and contagious but that I miss them very much.
Daiki: Right...I'll see you tomorrow.
Aki: Okay and thank you again.
*Daiki gave a nod and a smile and left. Aki sighed and fell back into the bed.*
(Woah! this is long!)

Re: Gakkou
* Hideki was breathing fast, analyzing the situation. He tried to move but Samuel had him pinned down to the ground. *
Samuel: What can you do now?
Hideki: I can kick you.
Samuel: Try it.
* Instead of that, Hideki gave him a headbutt, then when Samuel moved back, he tried to put him in a lock. After some struggle, Hideki ended pinned against a wall. Kelly sighed and walked up to them. *
Kelly: Let's leave it at that for now, time to go to school.
* Samuel let go of Hideki, who after saluting them went to get changed. Samuel looked at Kelly, taking off his helmet. *
Samuel: Doesn't seems to have gotten any better.
Kelly: Look at this.
* Kelly gave Samuel the laptop with the telemetry data from Hideki's armor. *
Samuel: ... so he got better at handling the armor, but he got slower in return?
Kelly: Not "in return"... I think he just lacks motivation.
Samuel: Do you have any idea to help him?
Kelly: I... don't... he's like this because he believes he failed...
Samuel: Failed?
Kelly: Rina, remember? *sigh* He'll have to get over it eventually...
Samuel: Eventually is not good enough. His family could attack him at any moment for what he did.
Kelly: I know, that's why I'm keeping an eye on him.
* Some time later, Hideki was walking through the school gate towards his classroom along with Kunikida. *

Re: Gakkou
*Kimara entered the school, she was running late. She was walking quickly with her head down, the halls were nearly empty. She had too much to think about, Aki's father wouldn't let her talk to Aki, She couldn't phone her, and she didn't even answer her e mail. On top of that, what about the gift for Aki, should she tell Mike, Daiki said he would give it to Aki, so he must have..... right?......... Kimara ran right into someone very solid.*
Kimara: Gomen....I..
Mike: Aki isn't in school. She wasn't yesterday either. Has something happened to her, do you know, Kimara-chan.
Kimara: Oh, Michael-sempai........ Aiki's father won't........... ah, I think she was very tired, yes, she is tired and is staying home a few days.
*Mike was looking at her with a frown, she hoped he'd believed her. She had to say something else, so he didn't think about it.*
Kimara: Michael-san, Aki has the gift you got for her.
Mike: What? What did I......
Kimara: The bracelet you bought for her, I saw you throw it away, she has it now.
Mike's face brightened: You took it to her? What did she say? was she happy?
Kimara: No, I mean, I don't know, her father won't let.............. ah, Daiki said he would take it to her for you.
Kimara was startled by the dark cold look that came over Mike at the mention of that name. Mike turned away.*
Mike: It doesn't matter, she'll just throw it away, Wherever she threw the necklace, *Mike strode off toward his classroom, while quietly saying.* and my heart.
*That last hadn't been to quiet for Kimara's sensitive ears. Kimara stood for a moment, to late to catch Mike. He was wrong, so very wrong. But how could she make him understand? Aki had to tell him. But how could she? Aki's father was ruining everything for Aki.*
*Selene didn't like the look on Mike's face. The icy coldness was almost scary. It had to be that Aki again. Selene was angry, Aki was evil playing with Mike like that, she should either stay with him or tell him goodbye. Selene wanted to see him smiling and happy again, and if she had to slap some sense into the little girl to make that happen, she's do it.*

Re: Gakkou
*Kimara entered the classroom frowning and sat beside Daiki.*
Daiki: Oi, what's wrong? *Kimara looked up at Daiki then sighed and turned away.* Hey? Kimara-chan? Look if it helps I gave Aki the gift. I didn't throw it.
Kimara, looking at Daiki: You did?
Daiki: Yea...*Daiki sighed and gave a small smile.* She liked it. A bit surprised that I delivered something from Michael-sempai, though. But she was smiling like it was some kind of precious jewel until she realized I told you about the secret.
Kimara: Are you sure that Aki's going to transfer.
Daiki: Not a hundred percent but mostly...Kyo-san is really set on wanting to transfer Aki. She's house arrested. No phone, no computer, no outside contact actually. In fact I think she's going to die of boredom before the week's over.
Kimara: But..but that's so much! Just for...being bruised a little?
Daiki: It's not just that you know. Kyo-san is worried about Aki...the Tsuchimi family might try and attack any of us for what we've done. Kyo-san doesn't like them and in fact thinks they just might target Aki. I think they know now that she isn't human after fighting there.
Kimara: This is not going well...
Daiki: Oh yea...*Daiki opened his bag and pulled out a notebook, opened it in the middle and took the small folded paper in between then gave it to Kimara.* Aki told me to give this to you, she said you know what to do about it. and she said to tell the others that she's sick and contagious that's why she isn't coming to school.
*Kimara took the note and opened it. Her eyes widened.*
The Note: Kimara-chan, can you check if there are any messages for Yuki from SS...I can't get to a computer right now, please? Can you tell me what they are aobut? Daiki will send any letter you write. Thanks a lot!
*At the bottom Aki scribbled her username and password plus address of the website. Kimara sighed and folded the paper and put it in her backpack pocket. She would get to that later and give Aki whatever she read tomorrow.*
Kimara: Thank you.
Daiki: No problem.
Daiki: Oi, what's wrong? *Kimara looked up at Daiki then sighed and turned away.* Hey? Kimara-chan? Look if it helps I gave Aki the gift. I didn't throw it.
