Glad it's just a common cold and no flu virus :pif:

I have to find and install all the apps I use on my laptop. I was using Abi Word, but they don't support windows anymore so I went back to Open Office. It works well but I found it won;t open my Abiword files.......... I had to install an old version of Abe Word so I can convert the files to either RTF or Word Doc files, darn. Well MS is going to end support for Windows 7 so it's about time I had to upgrade anyway.
Only having 128gb drive limits how many picts and videos I can store on the machine. I took the 500gb ssd drive I had in the old unit out and put it in a usb3 enclosure. Works great, but I have to drag it along and plug it in. This laptop doesn't have an optical drive either so I had to buy a usb external drive.

I think you're a special case with your millions of pictures and videos (I envy you btw :shy: )
Most people are absolutely meowkay with a 250 GB SSD. It's time to get to the next level and buy a NAS system to keep all your anime, doujinshi, music videos, and pictures secure. You can connect it to your TV and run shows with your ... educational materials :gg:
I badly need a new monitor. Even my cheap Nvidia 1070 video card is hardly challenged with that 19 inch thingy. Good ones start at € 550 (~$600) :pif:

wow! my 22 inch viewsonic monitor cost me $99 Best Buy online shows 37 monitors of 27" size for under $200. UHD monitors cost more. You need a company like Best Buy over there.

My guess: Best Buy needs 28" monitors with 5K and Nvidia G-Sync :meh:

This one is my current target: Acer Predator XB281HKbmiprz

I wouldn't touch Viewsonic with a 10 meter stick

Problem solved but that doesn't belong into the "Crap Shooter" :gg:
