A knock is heard on the door. "Oi! Lucas! Open up!"

Lucas blows a sigh of relief, just low enough for him to only here, "Yeah, Who is it?"

"What do you mean "Who is it?"!? It's your pal Nick, dude, open up! I have VERY bad news!"

oh great!, Lucas thinks as he reaches the door, "Whats up man?"

"Dude, the boss--" Nick stops talking as he notices Caryn is there, too. "Oh, hey Caryn!" He then pulls Lucas and whispers so only he can hear. "It's the boss' kid, man, he's gone missing!"

Lucas sighs, "Man, you serious!? Does anyone know what happened?"

"Not this time, no. Everyone is out checking the places he hides in but no news so far." Nick looks around to see if there's anyone trying to listen in the conversation then whispers to Lucas even lower. "Rumors says he's been kidnapped."

Lucas nods, "Thanks for news man," Lucas looks to Caryn then back to Nick, "Um hey Nick, can you gives us a minute?"

"Hmm, sure, man. I'll be right outside if you need me." Nick walked outside, stopped next to his car, took out his cellphone and dialed a number. "Yes, it's Nick... I was just breaking the news to Lucas... yeah, sure... give me a few minutes and I'll get back to looking, ok? ... good. Later." He hung up, opened the car and got in to wait.

Lucas wentback into the room with Caryn when the phone rang. Lucas waited a second then picked p the phone. "Hello?"
In a low raspy voice a man says, "You have a week to give me your wife or I'll kill your boss....." The person hangs up.
Lucas drops the phone and turns around staring at Caryn.
