I guess you're penguins... because you're into the movies... the movies leave out about 80% of the story. If I have to chose between the deluxe version of the DVD's and the books I'd chose the books.

Yeah, I have the Deluxe DVDs... and I like them, I really do. It's just that they're a bit of a different story than the actual books.
Speaking of which, has anyone read the actual "Howl's Moving Castle" book vs the Hayao Miyazaki anime? That, I will definitely say, is one time that the movie is quite a bit better than the book.

No, I never read the book, but I intend to read the Japanese version once I can read it ^^
