Farewell my little Hitachi 160 GB hard disk drive... :swt: :.:

I will really miss you... and the data that's buried with you :sob:

There goes the $$ reserved for the server reinstall. I have to protect the databases, anyone knows about digital nukes that activate on server breakins? :hmm:

Hard drive failure? That's bad.

Looks like I might lose my isp next weekend. He is losing his T1 line that he shares with our dial up isp because they are quitting service here.

Not yet, been hoping my neighbor would find a new T1 line to keep his isp going. might not happen for several weeks though. I may have to go to cable or dsl, more money though.

By the way I have lots of he....... errr, cute girl picts, just might be difficult to send them to you.

Isn't T1 just 1 mbit? :sleepy: Cable might be an improvement :.:

The T1 I'm talking about is the backbone to the internet from the server, way faster than 1 meg.

Oh, I sighned us up for cable internet today, supposed to be 8 mbit. If it runs anywhere near that it will be a lot faster than the wireless was, I got up to 1 mbit with that. They had a deal, $19 a month for a year when upgrading your cable TV to internet too. I also had to get a new provider for my shop, but cable would be $100 a month, plus they would charge me for funning a line to my shop. I had to go for dsl, it's 1.5 mbit, and $45 per month. It will be nice having high speed at my shop, no more long waits for the NAPA parts site to load up.
