RIP OFF ! RIP OFF ! :omg: GAS PRICES ARE STILL RISING!
We are suffering from the high cost of living as gas prices are up so our food cost.
who to blame ? BUSH ! that lazy man in office who 's affraid to do some thing about this mess.
Smaller cars should be in demand because of the high cost of gas, I love to get a minivan
camping trips and vacations are on a freeze because the gasprices.
Look at the housing market DOWN and gone to heck Why?
employers failing to face the changes of life they are so wussies to go with the flow.
and they lay you off , nothing worse than a weak minded employers
foreclosing are going up because of it.
lot of house for sale at some good prices but the banks are too Chicken poop and to scared to loan.
See how this country is in a big mess , all of this is because of weak minded people
You lost your job due to a weak minded employer and you have lost your home because of a weak minded employer.
you pay more for food and clothing due high cost of gas because of a weak minded president who can't do anything right. Everything is messed up because of weak minds

Why not go all the way to the root of the problem. People spending more than they can possibly afford, (due to idiots at loan institutions who are to greedy to see beyond the interest dollars, and credit cards), and who are too "me first, and the rest of you can go to hell" to suck it up and find a way to pay their debts, so they steal from us by defaulting on their loans.

There is plenty of blame to go around. Oil companies who are so greedy they make obscene profits, then tell us they need the money for exploration, while collecting millions of our tax money as grants from the government. People who drive ridiculously huge gas hogs when a smaller vehicle would be much more convenient, they just like the power feeling that big truck gives them. (The farthest off road most 4X4 trucks and SUV's get is their driveway.)

I could go on with this for a long time, but it gets my blood pressure up.

High gas prices are being felt around here, too. Lately (like in the last two years or so) there's been this boom of kei-cars (very small cars, engines with a litter or less of displacement). And most of the bigger cars are beign converted to work with natural gas, at least int he north coast where the terrain it's relatively flat and the power loss from the conversion is not a big deal.

There's also been a lot of investment on alternate fuels here. There are already two plants of biodiesel, and four or more of combustible alcohol for vehicles (dunno what they call it in the USA). We still need to work more on those, since those factories can't hope to handle the demand if everyone suddenly switched to, say, biodiesel.

Another research I'm following closely (even though it's not here), it's the one on hydrogen powered vehicles. Looks really, really cool, IMO.

The technology that I am most excited about is cellous based ethnol. Perticularly this type using Reed grass. It and produce 12 times the amount of ethenol per acher as corn. It is easy to grow, no fertilizers or pesticides, and it take very little water.

not to mention using B.S to run a car on and there is plenty of that all over.
