Okay, I know we all have our own. But I must admit, Chrono Trigger is a good one, heck I say close to the greatest. But Come on, no RPG is better or greater than Chrono Cross!

Chrono Cross wasn't that good, IMO. Maybe I feel that way because I was expecting something MORe related to Chrono Trigger than what they came up with but still... Chrono Trigger will always be the best, IMO, followed by Final Fantasy VII.

Thats why I said Chrono comes to a close second, I just like the story and music better...and FF7 is a little over rated in my book.

i like the following:

Star Ocean 3: Till the end of time
Suikoden III
Grandia II

those are my hardcore rpgs

as for other games i like:

Katamari Damacy
We Love Katamari
Sims 2
DOA Hardcore
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven

and many others.

Wait, messed up my last post. Changes are in bold. What threw me off the most in Chrono Cross was the battle and experience system. It was crystal clear in Chrono Trigger but in Chrono Cross I was confused all the time.

All time favorite as in "best gameplay per $": Ultima 7b: The Serpent Isle. This is a mid 90's game, the graphics is completely obsolete now.

Best online game:
Ultima Online

I think the best RPG is Final Fantasy (which ever you like best of the many)!
