All Anime World

Ok, this thread is not an attempt to start a war on which system is better, I need some help. My old Playstation 2 broke down 2 years ago and I think it's time to buy a new system. By the end of November I will have enough funds to buy either one of these systems, but I have no Idea which of the two. Originally I wanted the PS3 and I even have a game pre-ordered for it. But upon further looking around, the game, as well as many others that I want, are for both PS3 and X-box. Plus the PS3 is currently $599 while the X-box is $349. Does anyone here currently have either of the systems that could give me some possible befits of that system? And for those people that don't have one, say which one you would rather have if you could. I would be very grateful if you guys could help.

X-Box. Only because of Halo.

i'd say same because xbox is doing better than ps3 at this point. if you have enough enough though splurge for a Wii man!

w00t! I got a Wii! I love it... I hear X-Box is way better, only b/c ps3 still doesn't have enough good games...I would rather go and buy a ps2.

i heard they aren't planning on making very many games for the PS3 because it isn't doing so well, i think they should just keep on producing ps2 games so that way there will be lots more people to still buy the games!

well I mean serious!How much more can they "improve" plus why buy a system, if every three years you come out with a new one!

PS3 isn't doing well because of the lack of games, they aren't making new games because PS3 isn't doing well.

From what I've heard, the PS3 games don't play any better than the old games, they just have amazing graphics. People are going for the X box because it's cheaper and has more support. The wii is outselling them both. Now I've read reviews and seen some things about the new games for computers with DX10, (Vista only) and they say the graphics blow the PS3 completely away. There will always be those who have to have the extreme graphics for the "WOW" factor, but most people would rather have some new and better game play.

Its not about systems, its about GAMES. I love to play Final Fantasy so I go for PS3. People who love Halo go for Xbox! Please stop this stupid discussion its going nowhere. Just my 0.02 Euro.
