It ain't over yet.
I finished the comic yesterday and then spent 2 hours trying to upload it to $%*&# photobucket.com.
So I signed up for a different image storage service today. Enjoy.

You still have access to the TYPO3 backend... Can't use the "filadmin" menu can you?
