Song of Victory

God has put a song in my heart, soul and spirit! *Does a dance to God* I am felling great! right now! I am a God fearing man. I do go to church. I thank God for so much and everything. He has blessed me so much, I will admit that first at first I was...not ashamed, but scared and nervous about sharing my belief and God. I know it is wrong thing to do. Don't worry though.

I'm not gonna go all "Godly" on you. I just want to share this piece of me, to you all. That you should know who I am. I have gone a trial and I have come out it with a great spirit. I was in a lot of doubt, despair, depression, anger, even hatred. But after last night. I did some serious praying. I was not going to stop until my God heard, and he did. He has blessed mightily.

He gave me a song of victory, but not only that, but a promise, on both our part, I have always love God, and my God has always loved me, but recently I had sadly put a lot in front of my God, and God opened my eyes. The Bible, God's words, he says that we are his friends and his children, and that he is not ashamed of us, and I should not be ashamed of him, God bless!

Seems it often takes some difficulty in life to bring us back to our Lord. Good thing he is more patient and forgiving than we are.

One of the most powerful statements I've ever heard came from Time Keller, a pastor in New York City. In essence, he said that the only person with the absolute right to wake up the President of the United States at 4 AM to ask for a glass of water - is his child. And that's the kind of right God gives us when He calls us His children.

Strangely enough, our church service today centered on prayer, something we do way to little of I'm afraid. Many of the best statements of faith are found in our hymns.

What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry,
everything to God in prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
oh, what needless pain we bear.
All because we do not carry,
everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations,
is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful,
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior still our refuge,
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you?
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
In His arms He'll take and shield you,
You will find your comfort there.

A most comforting song.

Also wow! I'm surprised just how many of you are church goers! I feel so bad now, for not being brave enough to share this piece of me. but I do want to share a few things.

This video is at
CLC

While my sister was going to school, this was the church she was attending and every year they have an event called LandMark, for a week, I was able to go that year and this video was taken while I was at Landmark.

I'm a Pentecostal

Have you ever had Covenant Players perform at your church? I'm one of them.

Our synod has the WELS youth rally every two years. The kids get really up with that one. Glad you can do things like that. Now if we could get the whole world to join us.
