Hiya! I'm 'N'Toonz, who once was "Ojii-chan", but hasn't been for some time

(I was the oldest known poster on allanime.org for a time back in the day, hence the moniker).

Well I know we've talked and meet, but welcome... feels weird welcoming the oldest member while I'm barley making 5-6 months

Oh, I don't mean longest-standing member. I mean physically oldest.

You have to fight oldwrench for that title. BUT you're the oldest poster right now with Dechant being gone. Except myself of course.

I'm still using your Sakura-box for my earrings

Hmm, so your an old guy like me. There are a few of us haunting the anime cons. How did you get interested in anime? From your web site, I guess your into trains, I've always liked trains. I remember the steam engines pulling by my home in Adrian MI when I was a little boy. I remember them changing over to the "new" Diesel electrics. Still love those old steam monsters, like the Big Boy in the Henry Ford museum.

Well, the train connection came through the clay sculpting. As far as my interest in anime, I grew up on Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets, and I've been drawing cartoons since the age of 7. The online comic I draw, "Rangers!", I started back in middle school. But I gave up on the drawing for many years. It wasn't until the mid '90's, on one my early forays on the web, that I came across Mason Proulx's excellent website "Tomobiki-Cho", dedicated to Urusei Yatsura, and I was hooked.

BTW, I have two daughters, but no grandchildren yet. The daughters just got out of high school. My wife just got her Bachelor's in accounting, and I do a bunch of things, none of them for a lot of money. I'm part of an international drama ministry, Covenant Players, I work part-time at a Reform Jewish synagogue, and I run the clay sculpting website on the side.
