-50f, HA! That is childs play.

Ya, I know, I've actually been out when the wind chill factor was about -100f.

I remeber driving into work last winter on a cold day and my car showed the actual temp to be -27f. Because the heat from the engine effects the temp that the car reads, I figure the actual temp was about -30f to -32f.
But there was no wind so it wasn't that bad. I remember that -100f windchill day. We actually got to stay home from school because of it.

Tuesday high temp was 95f Wednesday high was 63f, quite a difference overnight.

Today, I have to spend the day cleaning house, I have to pick the wife up at the airport this afternoon....... my bachelor days are over again, sigh.

*wonders what currency "f" might be*

we are going to lose our nice summer like weather, by tomorrow. the high will be about 30 degrees f cooler tomorrow, and just gets colder for the weekend.

Sakura, that f stands for freeking cold here, at least that's what we get to look forward to.

Tomorrow's Mihomama's birthday, but I didn't have the time to buy a card/make one so I'm gonna be beyond late ;-; I'm going to work on the card today and hop I can finish it, but it takes a week to make its way to Japan, at least, so I feel really bad about it T-T

Belated birthday cards are the norm around here

I have to get things cleaned up......... SHE is going to be back from quilt retreat in an hour.

I get to sit around doing nothing in Souix Falls South Dakota. she teaches and lectures. I guess it isn't two days, I drive there Thursday, SHE has a bunch of stops along the way planned, antique stores and such. Then I drive back Friday night, three and a half hour drive. I guess I should take my computer along, maybe I'll break out of this writing block I have and figure out how to make the next chapter of 5min come out worth posting.

You should see the point in having an iPad. Can't live without my iPad. I'm not a big fan of dead trees and overflowing bookshelves and I have about 2 tons of paper stored on my pad right now. Oh wait... I can make "5 min." an e-book?!?
