* Kelly stood up and sighed. Kazuya hadn't said anything she didn't already know. Kaine was their only connection to the kidnappers and they didn't participate on it. The tank and the weapons were given to them because they knew a group would try to attack the hideout. He also didn't knew how to contact Kaine, he always appeared in the hideout or called him to his cellphone from random public payphones. He walked towards Kunikida and took a peek at the computer he was working on from over his shoulder. *

Kelly: How's that going?

Kunikida: Well, I have a few gigabytes of info transferred to my home computer... I'm wrapping up already, planting a data scavenger and a trojan virus so in case anyone else connects to this computer I'll receive a warning and all necessary info to take control of their system.

Kelly: Excellent.

* Kelly looked outside the room at Aki, Kimara and Daiki, she couldn't see Michael but she guessed he was somewhere else, standing guard. *

Kelly: Do what you have to do, we need to leave before the police gets here. The time I got us ends in... *looks at her watch* 5 minutes.

* On the forest, Hideki hadn't move a centimeter all morning. He was beginning to feel cramped inside the armor, while Samuel looked at the laptop's screen. *

Samuel: ... Would you stop that?

Hideki: What?

Samuel: That, stop thinking, stop talking. You told me you knew Kontrolle, why is it taking you so long to clear your mind?

* Hideki didn't answer and closed his eyes again. He couldn't stop thinking about Rina and about his friends who were in a gang hideout. So far he had tried to move the armor by moving his own arms and legs but it wouldn't budge. He wanted to try something, remembering Samuel's words from earlier. Suddenly, the armor's right leg jerked forward, catching him by surprise. The graph section representing Hideki's pain showed a spike and Samuel jumped out of the car's hood towards Hideki. *

Samuel: The heck was that!? Are you ok?

* Hideki felt as if someone had tried to rip away his leg. Even though it hadn't moved much, the movement was so fast and out of timing that it was almost enough to dislocate his leg. Hideki took a few deep breaths and closed his eyes again. *

Hideki: Yeah, I'm fine.

Samuel: That's why I told you to clear your mind! You can't try to control it with so much interference or you're going to hurt yourself!

*They made there way out, Kelly in the lead, she had Mike cover the rear. There were no more problems and they quickly made it out to the cars. Mike sighed as Daiki ushered Aki into one car, Mike took off the gloves and got into the other car with Kelly.*

*As they pulled away, Kelly looked at Mike, she'd seen him look at Aki, at least during the action, Mike had been sharp and professional. She'd just hoped the big guy could push in a few doors and handle himself in a fight. He'd been a bit of a surprise. He looked pretty down right now though.*

Kelly: You did well Mike, thanks.

Mike was looking at his hands: I didn't know I could stop a bullet, I never had to try, ...... *his laugh seemed forced* ..... Kind of like in a comic book, huh.

*Kelly remembered the two shots when she was in the doorway, at the time she had been irritated when Mikes hand had flashed in front of her, delaying her aim........ now she realized, she felt a momentary chill.*

Mike: I was sure she was going to die...... I don't know how I did it, how I got there in time.... I promised I'd protect her and I thought I was to late.

Kelly, realized he was thinking about Aki: It's over now, don't worry over it. Everyone's alright.

*They rode in silence for a while, Kelly still wondering just what Mike was. She didn't know of any other programs for human enhancement, other than the spartans. Genetic engineering was outlawed. where did he come from? Finally she had to try.*

Kelly: You're not a spartan, or I'd know it, you shouldn't be able to do what you did......... who are you.....really..... where did you come from?

*Mike thought for a moment, what could he tell her....... she knew he was air force captain, what else did she know, obviously not a lot. But it's classified......... Mike decided, it's his life, he could chose who knew about it.*

Mike: I don't know who I am...... or maybe what I am, and they don't know where I'm from either. I just know I come from somewhere else.

Kelly: well you're not Japanese, you must be American or European, they have black projects.

Mike shook his head: No, I mean not from earth at all. *Mike remembered the visit from the man who said he was his father.* They found me on the starship, when I couldn't have been there. They don't know........ I have a file on my computer, it's from the military classified files, the file is named Starchild, I'll give it to you, it tells everything they learned, everything they did to me.

*Mike looked out the window, he felt a bit better. He didn't know why he wanted Kelly to know about him, bet just felt it was the right thing to do. They had hidden him for five years since the arrival of the ship. They told him to keep his military life secret when he left for school. Now they wanted him to eliminate this Kaine spartan........... and if necessary, Hideki. He wanted someone to know, someone to confide in.*

*Kelly was surprised, was Mike nuts? Not from earth? That was just scifi stories. They had never found a trace of other civilizations among the stars, and SETI had searched for decades. She remembered the return of the space exploration ship five years ago, there had been no mention of anything strange. But then, what about Mike's abilities? And what about the file he said he has? If they did bring something back from space.......... Kelly decided she needed to contact some people.*

*Mike was silent for a time..... thinking. He was thinking about his friend Hideki, he knew how
much trouble it was to learn to use the armor control system. It could be very frustrating, and once
you got it, very seductive. The feeling of power could take over a man’s mind. Mike knew, he had
to stop a soldier who thought he was superman. No way would Hideki be like that.*

*But Mike couldn’t keep his thoughts off Aki........ He so wanted to be with her, to be the one
protecting her. It had been so close, if only he had been the one with her........ Maybe he would get
a chance to chat with his friend Yuki tonight. It had been two days since he had talked with her,
first in the hospital, then last night, when he just couldn’t bring himself to go online..There was so
much he wanted tell her...... and maybe she would tell him what to do with this hurt, tell him what
he had done wrong.*

*Mike had to get away, get his thoughts off the little girl. Why was she with the guy who tried to
kill him? What was it that Daiki had over her? Yuki had told him girls didn’t like guys to hover
over them, to be to close, smothering them. Daiki was hanging on to her like her shadow. Did she
actually want that? Damn...... he had to shut off his mind.*

Mike: Kelly, do you know where Hideki is?

Kelly: Samuel took him out to teach him to use that armor. Their out in the woods.

Mike: Let me out there, I could help Hideki train, He’ll need someone who can challenge him.

*Kelly nodded, she’d been watching Mike, she saw the hurt every time he saw Aki with Daiki.
She knew Mike had another reason for wanting to get away. Maybe it was best this way. She had
the car drive by the woods and let Mike out.*

* Hideki took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A few seconds later the armor started moving, walking awkwardly and very slowly towards Samuel. Samuel was looking at the laptop when he noticed the car stopping next to them. *

Samuel: Kelly? What's she doing here? And with Michael...

* Hideki lost his concentration after hearing Samuel's words and the armor locked up. He fell sideways to the ground and Samuel simply stared at him as Kelly and Michael walked over to them. *

Kelly: How's he doing?

Samuel: He can already move it but too slowly to be of any use. Plus, he needs to be totally focused or... this happens.

* Samuel picked Hideki up effortlessly and helped him stand up. *

Kelly: It took Samuel and me a week to reach this level and 4 months after that to gain enough confidence as to use it on a mission. At the rate he's going he may take too long learning how to control it... let's hope Michael can help him get better faster.

* Kelly turned around towards the car. *

Kelly: Well, I'll be leaving now. Gotta analyze all the data Kunikida extracted from the gang's computers. Later.

*Mike had watched Hideki's few halting steps forward. He knew the difficulty learning to control the armor suit. Mike thought of Hideki's dad's training, and walked up to is friend.*

Mike, in a loud drill Sargent voice: You been in this damn suit half a day and that's the best you can do? What the **** you doing boy....... *Mike whacked Hideki on the side of the head.* Quit thinking about making out with your ******** girlfriend. You aren't leaving till your got this thing down, got that s***head. Now we start with the right arm..... quit f*****g thinking and move your fingers.

Hideki's fingers moved slightly: Oww...... S*** I've tried that it... *Mike wacked him again.*

Mike: Did I tell you to talk, maggot.... Now move your f*****g fingers. Feel the suit, feel it wrapped around you. It's your girlfriend, it's your lover, dance with it. Lead it, feel it caress you. *Hideki's fingers curled up.* That's right, make her yours, feel the suit and take it with you.

*After twenty minutes of swearing and shouting, forcing Hideki to think of nothing but the suit, to move, joint by joint, one piece of armor at a time, Mike took a hard swing at his friend. Hideki quickly blocked the punch. Mike backed off and smiled.*

Mike, his voice softer: Ya, I knew you could learn this. That Kaine guy has had lots of experience with armor, from what Kelly told me, so you're going to have to learn one hell of a lot, in a hurry.

Samuel: Let's take a break for a few minutes, besides, I want to hear about the raid. You guys got to have all the fun. *Mike told them about the raid, Samuel seemed a bit surprised at some of the story, but Hideki wasn't.

*The training continued till evening, Hideki slowly getting better at controlling the armor. As they took the armor off Hideki, Samuel figured, at this rate, Hideki would be ready in a month or so. They had to train hard tomorrow.*

Mike: I'm really starved, maybe we should have had pizza delivered out here.

*Samuel agreed to take them out to eat before heading home for the night.*

*Dr.H came into the room looking at the girl in the green liquid,Anyone would have taken pity for the girl being so naked in a large cylindrical container EXEPT FOR DR H for her Rina was an experiment.Rina inside breathing through a mask has not yet been able to wake up to dr h that was okay for when she will the experiment will be complete*

Dr.H:Tell me when your ready to wake up from that dream of yours....

*Rina inside her mind found herself somewhere were the strong wind push gently her long haire she wore a white small dress,she look back to see hideki,her eyes widened in shock*

????:hey!! don't be soooo sad!!!

Rina:huh?*she turn to look at her elf self name Ria*

Ria:Come on,his trying so hard for you why not act happy help him Rina to gain the streght he needs,do you wont him to be sad too!!!*the girl pouted*are you not happy to see him*

*Rina smile,Ria was right if this is a dream she might as well do her best to spend it with hideki before going into that nightmare.Rina heard hideki call for her she look at him and smile*

Rina:hideki-kun....what are you doing???*she stuck out her tongue*you look ridiculous!!!

* Hideki had fallen asleep from exhaustion in the car. In his dream, he was wearing the armor, except the helmet. A breeze refreshed him and he looked around, noticing Rina on a nearby hill. He walked up to her, noticing how easy it was for him to move in the armor. *

Hideki: I'm training... to help you.

*Rina sat on the grass patting the space near her for him to do so*

Rina:is that so???....im glad....but why in this armor?hmm,im surprised you can move it's sooo heavy...

*she lie down on her back looking up at the sky*

Rina:Ne hideki-kun,are you afraid??aren't you afraid that we won't see each other???are we going to meet again??won't i never dance with you again?

* Hideki sat besides her, and leaned on the tree, looking up. *

Hideki: Yeah, I'm afraid but... I can't just sit around while you're in danger. Somehow I know that if I do my best, I'll be able to rescue you...

*Rina sits upright,she leans forward to him and kisses him on the lips,The wind blew past them she pull back and smile*

Rina:I'll be waiting then,if you need me please call me again....Oh hideki*she stood up walking away,she look over her shoulder * Clear your mind...just think of this place here OK....let's meet again in this place...*She looks up*bye...*Rina disappear into thin air in the wind*
