Mike: It's not a problem.

*Mike quickly assessed the situation....... the only one who would be hampered by the low light would be Kunikida, Kimara wouldn't have to much trouble, and Kitsunes were good night hunters........ But the enemy might see Aki as a human, and vulnerable.*

*Kunikida was closest behind them, Mike pushed Kunikida up against a wall.*

Mike: Stay there and stay down.

*Mike wished for tactical communications, he looked back into the entry room behind them.*

Mike, trying to keep quiet: Daiki..... incoming...... watch your back.

*Mike got next to Kelly, watching the last door..... waiting. Daiki could handle a couple humans, Kitsune are fast, and with his magic, (Mike remembered the spell on the arrow that struck him.) Maybe he didn't need to worry..... but if these guys have guns,.......... a kitsunes magic can't stop a bullet. If they shot at Kelly, Mike knew he could stop the shot from reaching her, but he couldn't cover them all. He desperately wanted Aki here by him, where he could protect her.*

*Aki was with Kimara when the lights went out. Kimara's grip on her hand tightened but Aki kept calm. Her eyes immediately adjusted to the darkness.*

Aki, whispering: You okay Kimara-chan?

Kimara: Ye--yes...*Aki could see that Kimara was looking at different directions. She was trembling a little. Aki spotted Kunikida by the wall and she walked towards him, Kimara in tow.*

Aki,whispering: Kunikida-sempai, can you see me?

Kunikida, whispering: I can hear you but I can't see you well. *Kunikida waved his arms around trying to discern where Aki was. A hand caught his.*

Aki: There...I'm holding your hand. *She gave a little tug to emphasize it. And Kunikida nodded.* I can see just well so I can help them fight...can you stay with Kimara-chan?

Kunikida: Sure...where? *Aki brought Kimara's hand and Kunikida grasped it.*

Aki: Kimara-chan can see well in the dark too... *Aki took out a leaf and gave it to Kimara.* You hold on to this, if you're in trouble use it like a whistle.

Kunikida: What is it? *Kunikida still couldn't see well even though his eyes had already adjusted to the dark.*

Kimara: A leaf?

Aki: It's a Kitsune whistle, me and Daiki will be able to hear it since it emits a high pitched sound.

*Kimara nodded and she stayed with Kunikida. Aki left them behind and walked towards Mike, Kelly and Daiki.*

Aki: Hey...

Daiki: Stay behind Aki...we don't know what they're up to.

Aki: I will not stay behind...I can fight too!

Daiki: What about Kimara and Kunikida?

Aki: There behind us...

Daiki: You can't just leave them there...they both can't fight!

Aki: I gave them the Kitsune whistle--

Kunikida: Kimara-chan!

*Aki whirled around and saw a big looming figure where Kimara and Kunikida where. She muttered a curse and ran back.*

Daiki: Oi! Aki...

*Aki ignored Daiki and skidded to a halt in front of the large man who was lifting Kimara by the hand as if she weighed like a feather.*

Aki: Put her down!

Kimara: Aki-chan!

*The big man looked at the short girl in front of him, she was glaring at him. He sneered. What a pathetic looking human.*

Man: You can't do anything little girl.

*Aki bristled and attacked, quicker than the man's eyes Aki had hit him right in the stomach. He double over and dropped Kimara roughly to the ground. Aki had blocked the man's view of the dog demon, her left hand held something glowing. And as the said hand neared him in a punch he realized that it was some kind of blue fire. The man dodged and hissed.*

Man: So you're not a human, eh?

Aki: No...I'm a Kitsune.

Man: A half-breed? Well then little missy time for you to meet pain... *The man threw in a punch-kick combo but Aki dodged it completely.*

*After the lights went out, Mike slammed open the last door. Kelly spun into the opening in a crouch, but the gang leader anticipated this and fired two shots low at the door. Two bullets rang off Mike's metal glove as it flashed in front of Kelly. Kelly's return fire dropped the gunman and one other gang member. before Kelly could get up, Mike vaulted over her into the room.*

Kelly: Mike! Damn, he is crazy.

*When Kelly got into the room, beside the two she had shot she saw two gang members lying against the wall like broken dolls, Mike held one man off the floor by his throat, and his other hand held the blade of a Katana that another had swung at him. Kelly dropped the swordsman with another shot, and Mike threw the other away like a rag. Mike noticed the open rear door..... They must have tried to get behind the group. Two shots rang out in the other room.*

Mike: Damn!

*Mike bound trough the door. In an instant of slowed time he took in the scene, two men were down by Daiki, and he was facing one with a katana. One man was down by Aki, but a second held the small girl off the floor by her wrists, preventing her from using her magic spells. The gunman was across the room and pointing the gun straight at Aki's back. Mike saw the man pulling the trigger.*

*Mike acted on instinct. The bullet exploded against the metal fist just instants before it slammed the gunner, lifeless, against the wall. Mike spun ready to attack the others, but there was no need. Daiki had easily dispatched the swordsman, and Mike turned just in time to see Aki kick her assailant hard in the chin, he dropped like a stone.*

*Kelly stood in the doorway, trying to cover both entrances, ready for another attack. Kelly saw that frightening look in Mike's eyes........ The look faded as the last man was brought down.*

Kelly: Maybe it's a good thing Aki's back is turned to that, and not just because the gun was pointed at her.

*Aki panted as she surveyed her work, two rather large men lay on the floor unconscious. Kimara and Kunikida were still by the wall, Kunikida was in front of Kimara.*

Aki: You two okay?

Kunikida: Shouldn't we be asking you that?

Aki: I'm fine...those were nothing. What about the two of you?

Kunikida: We're fine...well I am...what about you Kimara-chan?

Kimara: I'm alright, thank you.

Aki: Good...I think it's better if you two stick close to me instead of staying alone.

Kunikida: That's right.

*And so the trio walked closer to the others, Kunikida still holding on to Kimara since she looked too scared to let go.*

*Mike looked over his friends, none were hurt, that was good. The two shots he heard must have missed the fast moving kitsune. Mike could feel the fire inside him dying down. He wanted to be close to Aki..... but Daiki suddenly was right by her side, hovering over her. Mikes fists clenched as he looked at Kelly.*

Mike: I'll go check out front, make sure there aren't any more, Keep watch on the back door.

*Mike quickly stepped out the front door, and leaned back against the wall. Mike could feel his hands trembling, his legs felt weak. Few things ever frightened Mike, but that had scared him very badly. He could picture clearly the gun pointed at Aki, the fire from the barrel as it went off. Aki didn't know how close Mike had been to failing in his promise to protect her. Mike couldn't remember how he had made it in time to stop the bullet, in fact, most of the fight was a blur. But Mike knew he'd killed one man, maybe others, because his friends were in danger. Maybe Hideki wasn't the one his superiors should be worried about.*

* Kazuya flinched and punched the wall as he saw the fight start and end. He turned around towards a couple of gang members, his personal bodyguards. *

Kazuya: Bring the tank!

Bodyguard 1: Sir? Mister Kaine said--

Kazuya: I don't care what that f**** said. BRING. THE. TANK!!!

* The bodyguards ran out the office towards the attached top-roof parking lot to get the tank. On the meantime, Kelly, Michael, Aki and the others kept going upstairs, cleaning all the rooms in each floor before proceeding to the next. When they got to the top floor, Michael knocked down the door and stepped aside. Kelly ran into the parking lot followed by the others, ready to start firing her guns but there was no one around. Weird... Kazuya must be in this floor somewhere but there's no opposition... She took a peek out a corner and jumped back immediately, pushing the others back. *

Kelly: Heads up! Tank!

* The firing noise of the main gun of a modified FV101 Scorpion filled the air and a nearby pillar shattered. Kelly cursed the moment she had declined Samuel's idea of using her armor on the raid. She turned towards Michael, knowing his gauntlets could handle the tanks light armor. *

Kelly: I'll distract them, you wreck that thing!

*Mike took a quick look at the tank as Kelly told him to take it out, Just a scorpion but modified with a......*

Mike: No! Wait!

It was to late Kelly took off at a run, the tank opened up with it's multi barrel machine gun. The high rate of fire tore a path of destruction, sweeping right behind Kelly. Mike had little time to react, in several long strides Mike reached the side of the tank and slammed his fist into the side of the turret, it gave like tin foil. Kelly ran out of running room as the bullets swept toward her. the gunfire stopped inches from her as Mike's hand swept the inside of the turret and slammed the gunners head against the hard side. Mike jumped up onto the tank and smashed his fist through the deck onto the engine, diesel fuel poured from the ruptured lines as the engine coughed and quit.*

Worried, Mike hurried over to Kelly: You ok?

*Kelly's gun snapped up, pointed toward Mike, she fired............... The shot just missed Mike, and hit the tank driver as he popped up out of the tank with a gun in his hand.*

Mike looked back at the tank: Damn....... thanks.

* Kelly stood up and dusted off her clothes. *

Kelly: You must keep your eyes open all the time, captain. This is not like training back at the base.

* She walked over to the only intact door and kicked it open, quickly firing inside as the door opened. When Kelly put her guns down, Kunikida peeked inside and saw the leader of the gang unconscious on the floor. *

Kunikida: Erm... how are we interrogate him if--

Kelly: Watch and learn, Kuni-kun.

* Kunikida made a face at his new nickname while Kelly took an extensible baton from her backpack. With a swift wrist motion she snapped the baton to it's full length, then pressed a button on the base and it began to glow green. She walked up to Kazuya and touched his head with it and he regained consciousness almost immediately. Meanwhile, Kunikida spotted a group of computers on a side of the room and began working on them. *

Kelly: Now don't struggle, you still can't move the rest of your body.

* Kelly put the baton back into her backpack and took a pistol magazine from her backpack. This one had normal jacketed hollow-point bullets. She loaded it on one of the guns and aimed at him playfully. *

Kelly: Now, I'm gonna ask you questions. Each time I don't get a correct answer, I'll shoot you in a limb. That's... five of them. Your head will be your sixth chance.

Kazuya: "Five" limbs?

Kelly: Yes and I'm gonna start with this one.

* Kelly put the gun on Kazuya's crotch and pressed it against him. Kazuya tried to move away but his body wouldn't answer. *

Kazuya: Ok, ok!!! Just... put that thing away...

* Kelly smiled and pulled the gun away, still aiming at his crotch, though. She started asking him questions and he answered quickly, all the time staring at her trigger finger. Meanwhile, Kunikida was busy scanning the computers and sending every file he thought was important to his computer at home using a heavy, almost military level, encrypted connection. Outside, Kimara noticed blood dripping from Daiki's hand and ran over to him. *

Kimara: Ah! You're hurt, let me help you!

*Shouko sat down on a chair in the living room of the akiyama's,The woman sitting infrony of her look like the life inside of her was drain the man next to her hold her hands comforting her,but he,however had darklines under his eyes,he look tired,she knew of course that behind that mask lies a worry heart,for the pain of his daughter missing can break him any moment,but for his wife he retains himself from reaching the point of insanity.shouko look at the two*

shouko:You guys can't be serious.........are we going to act like this forever....Rina is missing and you guys sit here1!!

*Mike stood, looking back at the tank..... he'd been worried about Kelly, and screwed up. That was a rookie mistake, he had to keep his head straight. This wasn't training. Mike took a look inside the tank..... the gunner wouldn't be firing at anyone..... ever. Mike smashed the power unit on the gun, no one was shooting that gun again. Quickly he looked around the roof, no other places to hide, it should be safe. Kimara was tending to Daiki's hand, she always seemed to have the right medicines in the bag she carried............ Wait.... the door, no one was watching and there might be others coming from behind. Mike moved over to guard the door, he wasn't going to let anything happen to his friends.*
