Well. I have the roof and wall sheeting done. lots of work putting those sheets up on the roof. Now I need to get windows and doors on, Then, shingles and siding need to be put on. I still have a long way to go. The siding is going to be the expensive part.
Oh, the mast sticking up on the back is for my weather station. I always wanted one of those so I bought one that was here at the hardware store.

I started shingling my shed...... finally........ it was really hot here the last few days, about 100F with 70F+ dew points, that's jungle hot. yesterday was 104F on my three thermometers with a heat index (feels like) 115. Well, 20 degrees cooler today but still hot in the sun. I got 2/3 of one side shingled and I'm going to have my son in law help tomorrow.

No, they shatter when you put nails through them, poor quality material I guess. Actually, remember all those cd's that AOL use to send in the mail? I saved them up, always knew they'd be good for more than drink coasters. That hole in the middle is just right for a nail......
