Kelly: OK, let me apologize to begin with. I haven't been completely honest with everyone... until now.

Kunikida: What are you--

Kelly: Please, Kunikida, just listen to me, ok? *sigh* ... Actually, I'm an spy for a secret government agency called Level Zero. I've been ordered to watch over Hideki and help him develop his potential.

Hideki: Me? What potential?

Kelly: Let's... start from the beggining, shall we?

* Kelly turned towards her computer, typed some commands and a projector started from a side of the room. *

Kelly: Near the end of the last war, the military started a project to develop human weapons. The project was called SPARTAN, after the elite warriors from ancient. Along with it, project HAYABUSA started as an effort to build a powered exoskeleton, or armor, for us SPARTANs.

Hideki: "us"?

Kelly: That's right, us. You see, Hideki, both your dad and my mother are SPARTANs, human super-soldiers. They received biological modifications at an early age and were rigorously trained in the arts of war, but when war ended, the project was shut down to public eye to avoid problems with the other races. Secretly, it was transferred to Level Zero where investigations continued but with a new objective: to preserve the peace that had been obtained after the war.

Kunikida: But that doesn't explain--

Kelly: As I said, Hideki, Samuel and I are the sons and daughter of SPARTANs... genetics is a marvellous thing, don't you think? Being able to grant us from birth the same modifications scientist worked so hard to give to our parents.

Hideki: Does that mean...?

Kelly: Yes, we are SPARTANs as well... we are human weapons.

[Raine]

shouko:Human weapons huh?*shook her head,she looks at kelly*soooo the guy that attack us kaine he said something about spartan isnt he one of you guys?

Kelly: Yes and no. He is a SPARTAN, yes, but he isn't from Level Zero. He's from the first generation of SPARTANs, actually.

* Kelly typed some more commands and a list of names came up, most of them followed by either "KIA" or "MIA" *

Kelly: Kaine-017 was thought to be dead on his last mission when a elf used a sacrifice spell against him. His body couldn't be found so everyone assumed it had vaporized like the elf's. But what comes as a shock is not the fact that he is alive, but the fact that he has a SPARTAN armor.

Kunikida: But couldn't that be his old armor?

Kelly: His armor at the moment was a Mark II model, it couldn't have withstood that powerful spell.

* Kelly switched to an aerial photo of a big crater in front of a ruined building. *

Kelly: It was powerful enough to do this... but no, even if his armor had somehow survived the blast, it wasn't the same he was wearing yesterday. Yesterday he had a Mark IV, the current production model, which means someone in project HAYABUSA gave it to him. We already have a few suspects under interrogation on a Level Zero facility.

* Kelly sighed and stood up. *

Kelly: What I'm trying to get at is that, if Hideki manages to control the armor Samuel brought, he'll be the only one able to fight against Kaine. The rest of--

Hideki: Why? Aren't you and Samuel SPARTANs as well?

Kelly: Yes... but you're the best of us.

[Raine]

shouko: Hideki's worry shouldn't be kaine...what about rina?we might have to think the possibility of fighting her......perhaps even,,,*she turn her face thinking what mother has said to her this morningi can't kill Rina....no!!*

Kelly: Maybe, but right now our top priority is to find her. There's no chance of us fighting her if she can't be found right? So let's focus on that for now...

* A few more commands and another list appeared on screen. *

Kelly: This is my list of suspects, based on what we have obtained from the interrogations regarding Kaine's armor and people he know he has had contact with that could have helped him. First we should have a talk with Kazuya Oshima, leader of the Black Feathers gang. The guys that attacked Rina along with Kaine on the mall last time are from that gang.

[Raine]

*Shouko stood up sighingi wonder if i should i tell them that Ryu-san...has...well maybe they can get it more than what we dig up.*

Shouko:I have to go it's seems Ive been detected...good luck with your investigation....

*The door slam open,shouko sigh sliding the window she smile at the group,she look at hideki*

shouko:Yo!Drop by to Rina's parent's when you've got time well see ya!!

???:Shouko-san!!

*shoujo smile before jumping out of the window the group of elves ignore the others and followed her*

* Kelly stared at the elves running out the window and excused herself for a moment. A few seconds later, Samuel yelled in pain and Kelly walked back into the room. *

Kelly: Now that my brother has been punished for letting the door unlocked, let's continue.

* Kelly sat in frot of everyone, trying to rememeber what she was saying before the interruption. *

Kelly: Hmm... any questions so far?

*Mike looked down at his hands, and flexed his fist. He thought of the orders he had been given, Kaine was a rouge, he had to be taken out, but Hideki..... he couldn't be, he wouldn't go crazy. Mike had faith in his friend. Now he just needed his gauntlets.*

Mike didn't look up: Hideki's not the only one...... I trained against armor, it's slightly different, but still basically the same unit. I can teach Hideki how to attack armor. They may have more than one armored soldier, and they probably have other defenses....... With an armored soldier, and the others involved, these aren't just amateurs. If we don't take out the soldiers, no one will be rescuing Rina. *Looks at Hideki* Kaine is yours. But, if you don't take out Kaine..... I will.

*Mike Looked around the group, trying to avoid looking at Daiki and Aki, sitting across from him. He focused his attention on Kelly.*

Mike: This doesn't get us anywhere......When we find out where she is. I can get a couple UAV recon units, one a micro. Kunikida has played around with the simulator they put on the club computer, I've seen him..... He could fly one in and get us intel on what the situation is. *Mike had begun to act much more the military soldier, this was what he knew.... what he was.*

[Raine]

why??why is every time i wake up im in this place....this terrifying place.....my clothes is always stain with blood...no!!no!!!

????:what's the matter Rina-chan???

her voice,that voice bring shivers through me.....that voice is always in my head repeating that i kill him.....hideki-Kun*Rina found herself hugging her knees,she looks up to see two girls,all two were her...like her reflections except one had pointy elven ears and one had red piercing eyes and evil grin,The elven girl smile at her*

????:You want me to call him.....

Rina:who are you?

????:don't worry i wanna see him too.....

Rina:wh-*she was interrupted by the other girl*

???:Oie!!!wake up!!!you don't want us to die do you!!!

*Rina sense something coming towards her,she snap open her eyes for real to see her facing a elfen girl exept half of her face were burnt*

Rina:what???

???:i said what's the matter Rina?
the voice from before yes....it's indeed her dr.h...the woman who brings me so much pain

* Kelly looked at Mike for a second. *

Kelly: Actually I'll need you somewhere else, Captain. Hideki and Samuel can take care of Kaine but as you say, they'll have more people helping them. You will be our... bulldozer, as a manner of speech, opening the way for me and whoever else comes with us. The UAV idea is... good, we can use that, get them here ASAP.

* Kelly stood up and took a backpack next to her. *

Kelly: Now, are there any other questions? We need to go raid a gang's hideout.

* Just as she said that, Hideki fell to the floor unconscious. When he opened his eyes again, he saw Rina *

Hideki: What the..? Where are we? Where are you?

A voice: I called and you came... I'm glad.
