Re: Gakkou
* Hideki woke up and sat on the bed. He looked around, trying to remember how he got there. Oh, right, there was Hina, then I followed Rina to the roof and... He looked at his bandaged hands as he remembered the fight with Kaine and how he had tried to make Rina wake up. He remembered he couldn't stop them. His wounds started to hurt as he tried to move, but he didn't cared. He had to find her. Kelly walked in the room, holding a glass of water and some pills. *
Kelly: Oh, you woke up! Good! Here, drink this.
Hideki: What's that?
Kelly: Just painkillers and antibiotics.
* Hideki took the pills from her and swallowed them, then drank the water she offered him. He returned the glass and stood up slowly. Kelly put the glass down on a nearby table and started picking up their things. *
Hideki: What are you doing?
Kelly: Picking up our belongings. You don't want to leave Chisato's camera here, do you?
* As she said that she showed him the camera, which was in a poorer condition than Hideki. Hideki made a face, knowing what Chisato would say. As he went into the bathroom to get changed, he remembered something from the day before. *
Hideki: Oi, Kelly? Why do you have a gun?
Kelly: Took you long enough to realize! Just hurry up and get changed, I'll explain everything later.

* Hideki and Kelly walked out of the hospital. Hideki immediately noticed Shouko. *
Hideki: I'll wait here until you bring the car, ok?
* Kelly looked at where Hideki was looking and saw Shouko. She nodded and left towards her car while Hideki walked towards Shouko. *
Hideki: Any news?

Re: Gakkou
*Mike sat next to Selene on their way to her home, looking down at the floor. They were alone in the car, until six young demons entered.. The largest of the six walked up to Selene.*
Demon: Hey look at what this human boy brought us, looks like a nice piece.
*Selene was frightened, six demons....... she had been well trained, and Mike was very big, but against six demons....*
The demon leaned sown to her: Well sweet thing how about having a little fun wit.........
*In a movement to quick to follow, Mike grabbed the demon by the throat, cutting off his breath. Mike pulled the struggling demon close, and looked straight into his eyes.*
Mike, in a deadly quiet voice: Now would be a very bad time to get me angry. *Mike pushed the demon away.*
*The demon backed away...... that boys arm had been like stone, and something in those cold blue eyes..... something not human.....*
The demon looked at his companions: Hey, this won't be much fun..... to easy..... let's check the other cars.
*Selene move close against Mike, very glad he had taken her home. She felt a tension in him, and saw the almost frightening look on his face. Selene reached down and wrapped her hands around Mike's tight fist.*
*Mike looked down at the warm hands around his, slowly his anger drained, he began to relax and his face softened. Those demons didn't know how close........ Twice that night he had almost lost control. What was happening to him?*
*At her home, Selene thanked Mike for escorting her home, he insisted it was no trouble, he would be glad to, any time. Selene watched Mike walk away and sighed. She knew that Aki was his girlfriend, but..... she had heard the pain in Mike's voice when he told her Aki had gone home. It had given her some hope, though she really didn't want to see Mike hurt. Time would tell.
*From the window of the house, Selene's dad watched Mike walk away, he had gotten Selene's message and come home to get the car...... he didn't know how Selene had ended up with the young man, but, perhaps he wouldn't have to take care of the problem of those other two.*
*Mike had heard guys talk about drowning their sorrows, on the way to his apartment he bought a large bottle of Saki. At the apartment, Mike drank the whole bottle....... but it did nothing....... the day had been strange, swinging from bad to wonderful to awful....... Selene had been good to him, she had calmed him some,..... but. Mike thought of a little goddess in silver, looking at him with beautiful crimson eyes. Mike thought that she had given him a fragment of her life, that at least that part belonged to him..... But Daiki had said, "it's not you she belongs to." Men don't cry....... Mike didn't, he hadn't since he was a little boy..... tears ran from the corners of his eyes. It was a long night.*

Re: Gakkou
* Kelly parked the car next to Hideki and Shouko and lowered the window. *
Kelly: Come on, Hideki.
Hideki: Wait a second, Kelly. Shouko is helping, too.
Kelly: Then you come with us too, girl. Move it, Samuel is waiting.
* Hideki opened the door for Shouko and him. A few minutes later, they were at Kelly's place. Hideki and Shouko walked in behind Kelly, looking around. *
Hideki: You said Samuel was waiting, where is he?
Samuel: Right behind you, John.
* Samuel walked outof one of the rooms they had passed, holding a big box with ease. The four of them entered the biggest room in Kelly's apartment, at the end of the hall and Samuel put the box down, making a loud metallic noise. *
Hideki: Dude, that sounds heavy, what's inside?
Kelly: Your armor.

Re: Gakkou
*Mike watched the car pull away, he thought by coming this early, he might get a chance to talk with Hideki. How did he get out this soon? Mike sat on a bench..... Armor, did Hideki have any idea what he was getting into. Mike had training fighting armor, but Hideki couldn't have, where would he get the training. He didn't have a chance, flesh and bone were no match for aluminaceramic composite armor. Mike looked at the piece of armor he had picked up at the school, he'd broken bones in his hand a couple times in training against armor, and he knew the weak points.*
*Mike used his phone to e-mail his requisition, his gauntlets. The heavy metal composite alloy gloves, specially made for Mike to attack armor. They had tried to develop a full armor suit for Mike, but he didn't like it, the armor was to slow to keep up with Mike's reactions. Mike wished he could get at least a set of the gauntlets for Hideki, he might have enough strength to use the heavy gloves, none of the others did.*
*Mike hung his head. What should he do now? He had gotten the message to meet at Kelly's store, but would they really welcome him. He'd failed them last night. He'd heard the noise of the attack, and had chosen to stay with Aki, to make sure she was safe. He should have gone to help Hideki, Aki had the fox boy to protect her. ...... Mike got up and started walking, it was a long way to Kelly's store.*

Re: Gakkou
*Aki sighed and knocked on the door of her house. The door was opened by a surprised Ai.*
Ai: Aki? I thought the dance wasn't going to finish until later tonight.
*Aki bit her lip and her eyes shifted away. Daiki spoke up.*
Daiki: Something happened Ai-san.
*Ai's blue eyes immediately went to Daiki.*
Ai: Ah...I see. Why don't you two come in and tell me about it.
*The two nodded and went in, Ai stop Daiki for a moment and she whispered.*
Ai: I think you know I want to talk to you...
Daiki, whispering: Yes ma'am...I do.
*Ai gave a curt nod and let Daiki in. He sat just beside Aki on the sofa of the living room.*
Aki: Where's Papa?
*Ai's gaze never left Daiki.*
Ai: Fortunately he's not home, after we drove you to school he went to get something from his office. He's be back a bit later. So why don't we start with the first problem. *She stood straight and looked at Daiki with piercing blue eyes.* Daiki-kun, will you please tell me why you marked Aki?
Daiki: No.
*Aki looked surprised. Ai looked at Daiki, assessing him then turned to her daughter.*
Ai: You should go upstairs and change Aki, you seem to have had a long night. I'll call you down later and have some warm milk tea for you. *Ai smiled warmly at Aki that she convinced the little kitsune to leave her and Daiki alone. When she left Ai returned to her no-nonsense demeanor.*
Ai: Now, can you tell me? *Daiki nodded.*
Daiki: I love her.
Ai: Really? And how do you think that would explain it?
*Daiki grimaced but still control his temper. It would not do to lose it in front of Ai. He remembered the times he saw her when he was one a mere kit. She was powerful, the most powerful of the kin, really. No, it wouldn't do good at all.*
Daiki: There's a war trying to break loose. You see, that school that Aki is enrolled in is the peace treaty itself between races. And the elders want her.
Ai: What do you mean the elders want her? They didn't like her, they disdained her! Why now? *Daiki could see that Ai herself was controlling her temper.*
Daiki: They couldn't deny the fact that she is one of the most powerful kitsune even though she looks human. Add to the fact that she is an offspring of the greatest and most skilled mage and warrior of the kin. They need her for the war, they need her on their side. But they will not accept her, some will but the elder won't ever, doing so will make them admit to their mistakes. *Daiki gave a bitter chuckle.* And they said they were infallible. *Daiki was gritting his teeth as he told Ai what the elder said about Aki. And what they ordered him to do.* She was a pawn of sorts, only she's a powerful pawn...a pawn that had the powers of a queen, they said. She wouldn't be a loss if she was sacrificed in battle, as long as they had already used her potential. They wouldn't have cared. And so they summoned me and told me I had to bring Aki to them before the war starts. I would have done so too if I hadn't learn of their intentions. *Daiki's hands were clenched and his claws bit into his skin.* To think I would have delivered Aki to them, if they didn't tell me how it was such a brilliant plan I wouldn't have known. Those f***ing SOBs weren't even remorseful about it, they were actually gloating.
*Ai felt her temper flare when Daiki had told her that the elders wanted her daughter to be a sacrifice. But seeing Daiki that much frustrated calm her a bit. She knew Daiki wouldn't let Aki get hurt. What he said earlier was true. He did love her. She remembered the times when Aki would come home crying because Daiki-nii had hurt her or he had teased her or bullied her. He had a very queer way of showing Aki he loved her.*
Ai: Enough...tell me why you put a claiming mark on AKi. Yo9u do know that even if it is only a temporary mark it doesn't mean you can play with it.
Daiki: I wasn't playing. And I know exactly what I did. Aki is under my protection and I won't let anyone hurt her. I'll take it off when I'm sure she's safe.
Ai, sighing.: Daiki-kun, no one will be safe forever...that's why we have someone to protect us when something strikes. Aki will be in danger and someone will protect her. You can't try to force her into something she doesn't want, do you understand? That's why we left the clan too. Kitsunes there have mixed feelings about Aki and they're trying to force her to accept that because of her human looks she is weak. But you and I know she 's not. The elders have admitted this, she is a very powerful kitsune.
Daiki: Fine, Ai-san. But I won't take it off yet. *Daiki ran a hand through his black hair.* I just don't think I should yet...something, something is stopping me from actually doing it.
Ai: Alright, I will give you my permission to have that claiming mark on Aki but once she clearly states that it is bothering her you will take it off, understood?
Daiki: Yes ma'am.
Ai: And I'll handle Kyo about it. He may want to wring your neck so be aware. *And with that she left the living room and headed to the kitchen.*
*A few minutes later the front door opened and slammed close.*
Kyo: I'm home! *The big kitsune made his way to the living room and was shocked to see Daiki sitting on the sofa. He frowned.* What are you doing here? * Precisely at that time Ai strolled into the living room with a tray of steaming milk tea and four cups. Aki had also chosen that time to go down and enter the living room wearing her pajamas.*
Kyo: What are you doing here, kit? *Kyo scooped AKi and snuggled her before putting her back down.*
Aki: The dance was canceled...
Kyo: Why so?
*Aki gave a wry smile but then she frowned. Her crimson eyes flickered to gray.*
Aki: It was horrible Papa...we arrived there and everything was so wonderful then someone had attacked Rina-chan and Hideki-sempai! *Aki was turning hysterical but Ai put a calming hand on her shoulder and gestured for her daughter to sit down and drink some tea.*
Ai: Daiki can tell the story.
*And so Daiki related the story. Rina and Hideki were attacked by some kind of armored man and a slimy creature, the school being thrashed and Rina being kidnapped. After the long discussion and the enigmatic expression Kyo had Aki was told to sleep and the guestroom was made for Daiki since it was really late and Ai thought it was the least they could do for the fox boy since he escorted Aki home.*
*Later that night, when they were all sleeping, a shadowed figure crept stealthily into AKi's bedroom. The figure stopped beside the occupant's bed and a tail twitched. Daiki gave a small smile at the slumbering Aki, she really looked like an angel with the moonlight spilling on her features. He trailed his fingers from her temple to her jawline and sighed.*
Daiki, whispering: Sleep well dani...*He stopped and gave a wry grin.* You're not really a dani, eh...more of an angel. Strong and pure, always wanting to help, always worrying for others. *Before he left he gave a soft peck on her cheek.*
*The next morning Aki woke up early feeling much better than last night. She was surprised when someone knocked on her door. It opened and Daiki's head peeked in.*
Daiki: Come on dani...*The insult Aki noted was made in good humor so she let it slip.* we're going to be late. Kunikida said that Kelly-san wanted us at her place today.
Aki: I know...but isn't it too early?
Daiki: At seven, remember? *Daiki girnned as he stepped back from the door as green and red- Aki was wearing red pajamas- blur whizzed by thrice out and back in the bedroom. Then Aki was all dressed and ready.*
Aki: What time is it?
Daiki: You made it in record time actually, ten minutes to do all that. *Aki glared at him and he chuckled.* It's six-thirty in the morning, dani.
Aki: Must you keep calling me that?
Daiki: What? Oh, you mean dani? *He gave a thoughtful look.* Well if you don't like it I can call you princess, instead. *He grinned devilishly at her and Aki blushed and glared at the same time.*
Aki: I'll take dani.
Daiki: Alright...come on. Kunikida gave me the address to Kelly-san's...it's a bit far away from here.
*Aki nodded, she left a note for her parents that she was going to a friend. She and Daiki used their speed to head over to Kelly's.*
Ai: Aki? I thought the dance wasn't going to finish until later tonight.
*Aki bit her lip and her eyes shifted away. Daiki spoke up.*
