My soccer team won the league and we're in great standings for a sectional title!! We started off the season really bad with a record of 3 wins 5 losses and 2 ties but we went on this huge win streak to end up 10-5-2 AND we took the title away from our cross-town rival team who would have won it if they hadn't lost to us last week. I'm spending the day tomorrow at a craft show. I've already got my display set up, and I've got a commission even before we've started. One of the other people setting up wants me to make a figure of her grandson in his football uniform. She'll be bringing a photo and a check tomorrow! Wohoo!

so how'd everything go at the craft show?

It was a good day. Not sure if any other commissions will come through, but I did the one that same day.

Last week I also entered a local art show. Didn't win anything, but it's exposure. The piece I entered will stay on display until the day before Thanksgiving.

And in other news, I sent our local Bedford Township paper a short news release about the book I just published, and they wrote back that they want to do a feature story for the next issue!

Guess its sorta good news, sent home earlier, lol. No I didn't do anything bad...*cough* nah, lol. um, they're giving me a half day today and tomorrow. Then I'll be off til Monday! w00t! catch up on some game time!
