* The paramedic checking Kelly managed to wake her up and was now taking a look at where she had been hit. Hideki didn't say anything. He just sat there looking down and feeling like a failure. One of the paramedics called his attention as another brought a stretcher. *

Paramedic: Come on, son. We need to take you to the hospital.

Hideki: What? No, I just need to rest a while so I can go look for Rina. I--

Paramedic: Sorry, son, but that'll have to wait. Now let's go, don't make me use a tranquilizer on you.

* Hideki closed his eyes and nodded. He didn't have any strength left to argue with them. He left the paramedics lay him on the stretcher and carry him away. Kelly followed them and climbed on the ambulance, somehow the paramedics didn't say anything to her. *

*Kisane adnd ryu took shouko and went home.When Rina woke up she wasn't in her bed,she was in something cold,she saw a woman looking at her,a thin glass separate them,she realised that she was in a container,like some kind of experimented animal*

Rina:who are you?
*The woman laughed*
????:your awake...my name?just call me Dr.H is all yo need to know...you seem tired you should rest.

Rina:why am i here?where is hideki?

Dr.H:hideki?ah the young boy,Rina-chan,dear...we are here to help you...you see you have something that can harm people...

Rina:Thats not true!!

Dr.h:Really then why is your so called boyfriend isn't here...thats cos you killed him...

* On the ambulance, one of the paramedics started Hideki on an IV drip and almost immediately he started feeling dizzy. When he asked, the paramedic told him it was normal, he had mixed a painkiller in the drip. Hideki looked around, he couldhear Kelly talking on her cell phone. *

Kelly: ... he had an SPI-Armor... no, I don't know how he got it, why don't you ask the guys from equipment? ... yeah, we are taking him to an hospital... it's not serious, he's just exhausted... well, what did you expect? He fought against an armored SPARTAN, we are lucky he's still on one piece! ... look, just send me that d*** piece of equipment and let the boss know he's okay. I'll call you later.

*15 minutes Rina sat down looking at the floor,15 minutes since she heard what the woman said,15 minutes she has been crying*

Rina:hideki-kun....where are you?your dead right i couldnt have...kill you right?

*she hugged her knees.*

Rina:where's everyone

* Hideki was now asleep on his hospital bed. His wounds weren't bad, so he could be out of the hospital by tomorrow morning. Kelly was down the hall getting something to drink. She walked back to the room, passing next to the guards (which were there more to avoid Hideki escaping than to protect him) without looking at them. She sat next to hideki's bed as her phone rang. It was Kunikida, she answered. *

Kelly: Hey...

Kunikida: Kelly-san? Where are you? It's Hideki okay?

Kelly: Yeah, he only needs to rest... *sigh* look, I'm sorry we got you involved on all this.

Kunikida: It's no problem, I'm his friend. Anyway, I was wondering about some of the things that guy on the weird looking armor said...

Kelly: Yeah, about that...

* Kelly thought for a second about what she was going to say. This would expose her mission but she was afraid Kaine had already done that. Besides, there would be no one able to stop Hideki from looking for Rina, she knew that well enough. The best she and his friends could do was help him. She sighed again before continuing. *

Kelly: ... Tell everyone to meet me at my place tomorrow, please. I'll explain everything there.

*Ryu stood in silence,before slaming files on the table*

Kisane:..i see...

shouko:so these are our suspects....

Ryu:hai...but i wonder if we've miss someone....*looks at shouko*

shouko:Ive been spying on all of them and none seem to be in activity or even sure about Rina's existance but tonight their children might tell them...

Ryu:i see./....call hideki...when he gets well he has to come

kisane:why the boy?

Ryu:most of the suspects comes from his family....

*Aki was able to dance at least once with Mike before a loud explosion shook the place. Aki looked up and the ceiling had little cracks, another tremor and bits were falling. The multitude of students began to panic as they scrambled out of the room.*

Aki: What the--?

*Aki and Mike had met with Kimara and a disgruntled Daiki, they had to push and squeeze through a lot of people since everyone wanted to get out for fear of being crushed by the ceiling.*

*Once they got out, Aki breathed a sigh of relief, her neat coiffure was now in rambles, pins had lost their hold and handful of green hair tumbled down. Her silver dress was wrinkled as were Kimara's pink dress, Kimara's hair was fortunately still okay.*

Kimara: What happened?

Aki: I don't know...something blew up...

*Daiki's nose twitched.*

Daiki: I smell some kind of gun powder and traces of sleeping gas. *The fox boy coughed and rubbed his nose.*

*Kimara scrunched up her nose and Aki covered hers as they neared a small wreckage.*

*Kunikida had spotted them and waved for them, he was already running up to them, his cellphone in his hand and a worried expression on his face.*

Daiki: Kunikida...

*Kimara had rushed to him, already feeling something very wrong.*

Kimara: What happened, Kunikida-sempai?

*Kunikida was smudged with dirt on his face but other than being a little dirty he looked okay.*

Kunikida: Rina-chan... she's--she's gone!

Aki: Gone?! What do you mean gone?

Kunikida: She's been kidnapped...

Kimara: By who?

Kunikida: I don't know who...the police had no leads yet but I think Rina-chan's parents know something and Kelly-san...

Daiki: Hideki's friend?

*Kunikida nodded and told them what he knew. Rina had ran up the roof where Hideki followed, then some weird guy with an armor and a green creature attacked them, they had survived but something happened to Rina. It was like she had changed.*

Kunikida: ...then she went on saying that she didn't like humans! *Kunikida gestured wildly as he said his tale. Daiki furrowed his brows as if knowing something like this would happen, Aki listened intently. MIke had gotten the part about the kidnapping but when Kunikida had said something about Rina changing he was lost. Kimara was very confused and worried about Rina's welfare. Kunikida had calmed a bit but the worry in his eyes never diminished.* Kelly-san wants us to go to her place tomorrow because she needs to tell us something...it has something to do with everything that's happening.

Daiki: Alright...tomorrow, then.

Kunikida: Okay, we'll meet up here at seven in the morning?

*The group nodded their assent. Daiki was already beside Aki so he took her hand.*

Daiki: I'll take you home, Aki.

*Kimara kept quiet as she saw the murderous glare in Mike's eyes. Aki looked quite haggard.*

Aki: Daiki...I'm not your date...

Daiki: It doesn't matter...I'll take you home. I need to talk to Kyo-san and Ai-san.

Aki: Mama and Papa? Why?

Daiki: About a lot of things. So I'll take you home now. *He tugged on Aki's hand and Aki gave up. She couldn't keep up anymore. All she wanted was a nice little dance and now a part of the school was thrashed, Rina was kidnapped and Hideki was hurt. Daiki turned to Kunikida.* Kunikida-sempai...can you take Kimara-chan home? I don't think it'll be safe if she goes home alone. *Kunikida nodded. Daiki pulled Aki and they walked away, a little slowly than their usual normal pace.*

*Kimara was frowning, a little bit disappointed that Daiki wasn't going to escort her home and a little sorry for Mike who looked like he wanted to snap Daiki into two. She felt Kunikida's hand on her arm and she looked at her sempai.*

Kunikida: I should bring you home...the dance won't continue anyways...

Kimara: Alright...just a while... *She turned back to Mike and gave him a small smile.* You should rest Michael-semapi, I don't think overexerting yourself would be good.

*Mike was fuming....... he wished he could beat the fox boy sensless. But what coulsd he do? Mike had tried to protest..... but she had made her decision, she left with Daiki. Why? During this last week , he thought they had become close. Mike remembered Daiki's words, "you're not the one who owns her". Mike's heart sank...... his mission here was a failure, his friends hurt, his girlfriend gone..... Mike pulled out hid cell phone and keyed the special link to his commander.*

Mike: I'm sorry commander, I've failed here. There was an attack at the school tonight, a first year girl was abducted........... it is my concern, sir, she's a friend............ yes sir, Hideki was involved, aan armored soldier was in the attack, they fought...... yes, the name was Kaine, I believe.

Commander: Then he is there. We were afraid he was involved....... You read the spartan files, we have been keeping an eye on the group, since the project was abandoned there has been ilegal activity. Kaine is very unstable, he could be very dangerous, we aren't sure about the Hideki yet, it could show up later, under stress. Kaaine will have to be eliminated...... We hope Hideki won't turn out that way. You aare the only one we have who could contain them, we don't want to have to send in a team and cause a big scene. Be careful, sprtans can be treacherous. If needs be, you are authorized to eliminate them.

*Mike just stared at his phone for a moment........ eliminate them? Not Hideki.... not a friend. Mike turned to leave, and saw Selene standing in front of him, tears in her eyes.*

Selene: Micheal-san...... I don't know what to do...... my date, he ran away....... and my parents aren't home..... I'm afraid..... Can I stay with you and Aki? Please, just till my father can pick me up?

Mike: Well, Aki is gone home..... I guess I can stay with you, when will your parents be back?

Selene: I don't know...... my dad has his phone t urned off...... my date was going to take me home...... I, I'm scared, what happened?

Mike: I don't know all the details..... but Hideki was hurt, I was going to check at the hospital to see if he's alright.

Selene: If you wish to go..... I would go with you. I don't want to stop you, but...... I don't want to be alone.

Mike: Sure, no problem..... let's go then.

* Samuel walked into Hideki's hospital room and Kelly stood up as soon as he walked in, pushing him outside and closing the door behind her. *

Kelly: Sorry, he's sleeping.

Samuel: Oh. How is he?

Kelly: In one piece, thankfully. Kaine was armored but he wasn't taking Hideki seriously enough. If he had, he would have a few broken bones by now. Did you catch him?

Samuel: No, we had him pinned down on a construction site but somebody started shooting at us so we had to pull back. By the time our Shock Troops arrived he was already gone.

Kelly: Dammit! Ok, listen, I asked for some equipment for Hideki and--

Samuel: Why?

Kelly: Because it won't matter what we tell him, as soon as he can stand up he'll try to find that girl. And if he does he's bound to find Kaine again and only God knows if he'll fight for real next time.

* Samuel sighed and looked away. He knew she was right, but he also knew this was going to cause more problems than solve them. *

Kelly: Now look at me and listen, this is what we are gonna do...

*Mike and Selene met Kelly and another man in the hallway. Kelly told them Hideki was sleeping, but Mike insisted on seeing his friend. Kelly was hesitant, but let Hideki's big friend in, Selene waited for him. Kelly wondered who the tall girl was.*

*Mike looked at his injured friend.*

Mike, softly: I have orders now, Hideki, orders to stop Kaine, eliminate him...... I know you want to be the one but..... *Mike made a decision*...... I won't stand in your way, but I'll be there if you need help. I can teach you how to attack that armor, at least give you a chance. Just don't go berserk on me buddy...... I don't want to have to take you on too.

*In his drugged state, Hideki heard his friend, somewhere far off. His words were strange, but he knew he could trust his friend.*

*Mike led Selene out, at least Kelly said Hideki would be alright. Mike and Selene headed for her home.*
