Well, I get to drive SHE down to Ankany Iowa for tonight. She is lecturing there. Tomorrow, I have to get her back here and to the airport for an afternoon flight, problem is, they are predicting 3-6 inches of wet heavy snow right along the path of the hiway we take home.

I am supposed to be "taking it easy and staying off my feet" today per Dr.'s orders (hahahahahahahaaaa!), but I'm not. Because a) I'm bored, and b) I'm perfectly fine, and c) I don't want the husband to think I'm any more of a lazy @$$ than he already thinks I am.
So I feel guilty about not doing what the Doc said to do, and feel guilty about doing what he said to do. It's a total lose/lose situation.

Wife isn't feeling well today, and we have the grandson for one more day. Seems every time the kids come, she gets sick. I definitely see why we have kids when we're young, I can't keep up.

@Dinky: The only solution to that purroblem is lots of catnip ice cream. (and stop worrying your hubby has married you, he's not afraid of all the work that comes with it *g*)

@the honorary evil kitty: I think you have the cat flu? Get well soon. *offers more catnip ice cream*

How can such little kids be so loud? They have one volume, whether across the room or sitting at the dinner table, and that's as loud as possible.Sigh, maybe I'm just getting too old. On the other hand, SHE has been thinking I should get a job, part time. (Might be good to get out of here once in a while.) The only local part time open, is school bus driver. Maybe I should take that. Oh, the noise.

Sorry, Gpa! Yeah, the kids are ridiculously loud... :swt:
Car dealerships are evil, evil, EVIL. I hate them. :pif: And they are totally sexist, too. I bring my (used) new car in and say there's something wrong with it five days after we bought it, and get totally pooh-poohed and basically patted on the head and told that I'm just a silly little woman who doesn't know the engine block from the radiator (which, okay, is true... BUT Gpa told me something was wrong with it!), and then I get sent back home without them doing a THING. THEN my husband brings it in, and it's all 'oh, of course, if you think something's wrong we better check it out". Really? We're not living in the 1950s here, people. Not to mention the fact that they discovered the catalytic converter is shot (a mere 900 dollar fix!) and didn't TELL us. And then they didn't think they should pay for this, even though it was discovered less than a week after we bought it!
However, it sometimes pays to have an almost 2 meter husband. He just stood there, head and shoulders over the fat little manager man, and glowered at him until we worked out a deal on this.
But it's STILL not fixed. :pif:

Yeah I know that. F... I really know that. It's the price you pay for being cute :pat:
I have to costume myself whenever going to some technical workshop.

"Excuse me is your mom at home?" is what I hear alot at the door. :omg:
