*Keon watched Hiroki intercept Lila. He wondered if Hiroki had an interest in her, but could only feel a coolness toward her from him. Strange that he would get up just to talk to her. Then Keon felt that darkness from Lila. A darkness that reached out toward Kaede. Why did she emanate such hate for Kaede? Keon just couldn't see any reason.*

*Keon watched the blue haired girl return and almost run into Lila. Again he saw the darkness in Lila flare, but with it something else...... fear. Keon really didn'under strandnd what was going on. He got another shock as the beautiful girl came and sat near him, asking a question of the group, and especially of he and Hiroki.*

Keon: It's been very interesting. *Keon looked at Kaede and smiled.* It's very different here.

Hiroki: Well, it's been good, so far.

* He said, slowly as he sat down again. *

Hiroki: Even with the rude teachers and upperclassmen...

* He added, clearly referring to Agnus and Lila, frowning as he said it. *

Hiroki: But never mind that! Say, where's the library? I would like to check out a couple books before the end of the day.

*Kaede was about to reply when she got hug by a tiny long hair auburn girl,wearing the same uniform as her*

Kaede:R-R-Rina-chan!!!!

*Th girl look up at her and smile,her arms around her*

Rina:Onee-san i waited for a long time at the roof,gomene my class ended a little later than usual.*she blinks as she notice kaede was alone*

Rina:are these weird looking people your friends???

*Kaede sigh,looking down at the eight year old girl who talk as if she was the same age as her.how troblesome*

*Keon noticed Lila had stopped by the school door. One of her followers had come out of the school and handed her a piece of paper. Lila looked it over then looked in Keon's direction with an evil smile on her face.*

Keon: Uh-o. This doesn't look good. *He looked at Kaede, who was wrapped up by a little girl and motioned toward Lila.* Incoming....

*Lila quickly approached the group and with a sneering expression adressed them loudly enough so everyone nearby could hear.*

Lila: Kaede Matsune, you and your new boy are to report to the principals office....... Immediately!

Keon jumped up: She had nothing to do with it, just leave her out.

Lila laughed: Who cares? This time she'll be expelled, like she should be. *She stepped forward an looked down at him.* Just get to the office..... LITTLE boy.

*Keon bristled, his fist tightened. He wasn't adverse to fighting a girl, he'd had to many times........*

Kaede grabbed Keon's arm: Let's go, just forget her, it isn't worth it.

* Hiroki sighed, shaking his head. He had tried to make Lila leave them alone, but she seemed fixated on messing with them. Still, she was messing with Kaede and Keon, people he had only met today... no, wait, shouldn't think that way. He wanted to make friends, and knew that simply abandoning the few people that had been kind to him would be a dick move. He stood up, stepping between Keon and Lila. *

Hiroki: Don't let her rile you up, dude.

* He told Keon before turning towards Lila. *

Hiroki: I would dare say your business here is over, Sheik-san.

Lila: You think wrong. I have to see that these two...

* She almost spit those last words as she pointed sloppily to Kaede and Keon. Hiroki tilted his head, his patience tested. *

Lila: ... don't run away.

Hiroki: Surely the student council president has more pressing matters than to escort suspects to the principal's office.

* Lila's smirk faltered at the tone Hiroki was using, calm but firm. What she didn't like, though, was how he referred to Kaede and Keon as "suspects". Hiroki started walking sideways, continuing the conversation to draw Lila's interest. He was hoping this would give Kaede and Keon time to slip away. *

Lila: What do you know? These two are guilty of a very serious offense against fellow students!

Hiroki: So now you're judge and jury? Whatever happened to the presumption of innocence? Surely as a democratically chosen representative of the students you have to be impartial.

Lila: SHE'S A DELINQUENT!

* His distraction seemed to be working, since Lila was now fuming, her attention completely on Hiroki, who had now moved so that Lila was facing the sports field instead of the main building. He kept debating with her, more calmed now that he had successfully pushed her buttons. *

*Keon followed Kaede to the principles office. He could feel the anger building in Kaede and was afraid she was angry at him. When they reached the office, Kaede stalked in ahead of him. Keon knew Kaede was going to say something, something that would just make things worse. She's strong willed, maybe that's why she gets into trouble. Keon stepped in front of Kaede.*

Keon: Miss Masume didn't have anything to do with this. It was me they were after. I did the fighting.

Shin: Enough, that's not how Trent said it happened. He and the other two said it was Kaede who attacked them, and you joined in.

Toru: That isn't how it happened sir.

Shin looked over to the door: Alright, come in and tell me what you know, Toru.

Toru entered the room: I was in the hallway, just a few meters away. Trent started hassling Keon, Kaede just stood back. She didn't have anything to do with it. *Toru retold the incident exactly as it happened.*

Shin: I could check with the other students who were in the hall.

Toru: You know you'll only hear what Trent and Lila want you to hear. No-one is going to speak up against them.

Shin sighed: I suppose you're right. Keon, let me see that gun.

*Keon stiffened, but he handed over the stun gun, sure he was going to lose it.*

Shin: At least you have it on minimum setting. *Shin handed the gun back.* This is a defensive weapon, make sure you keep it that way.

Keon: Yes sir, I will. *Keon was surprised to have his stunner back.*

*Shin dismissed them with a warning to stay out of trouble, though he knew, that wasn't very likely.*

*Meanwhile in wipe corp industries tallest building,Miri sat in her director's leather chair.she stared at the small photo frame that was next to the one of her family photo consisting of her,her husband and her three children.The one she was staring at was the one she had taken twenty years ago with a group called altan,her Deceased sister was smiling back at her,back then she was someone else called Ria.Next to her was a very serious Hideki.Hideki-kun.. ,she press her fingers agaist her forehead as if tryig to get rid of a memory*

*She raise her head to look upon the woman who haunted a lot of the people she cared and love,even her husband stood in fear of her but now she was nothing but a weak and defenseless woman,her aunt sat in her wheel chair holding the photo frame of Kaede.she was looking at it with such hatred in her eyes*

Miri:Kaede-chan,isnt the one who killed my sister or is it her fault...you of all people should know who's fault it is...Shouko

Shouko:You use to talk to me with such respect...is it because i can no longer walk or is it because i am dying??


Miri:The way you are now,is because all the sins you have made....you destroyed your sister's life and the boy you also loved...

Shouko:I don't wanna talk about this...i came here to talk about some incidents been hapening lately in the city...

Miri:you mean the aparition of monsters?so far its been attacking students...Im trying hard to keep it at bay

* Hiroki had found a way to escape from Lila's wrath after his objective had been accomplished. Thankfully, once she noticed that both Kaede and Keon were now gone, she had stormed off, leaving him and Evangeline with Eva's friends. He took a deep breath and sat down near the girls. *

Hiroki: Well, I'm glad THAT's over... but now I'm hungry... could I maybe pilfer some food from these beautiful ladies, I wonder?

* He thought out loud, looking at Evangeline's friends, hoping they would share some of their lunch with him. He was feeling better now, after having vented his earlier frustrations on Lila during that verbal dispute. *

* At the same time, near one of the many anti-magic shield generators in the city, a tall figure moved quietly through the roofs, her looks covered by baggy jeans and a dark hoodie. The person approached the edge of the roof and looked down at the small, bunker-like building across the street. There were about 4 guards doing patrols on the outside, and there were over 15 more inside, but that didn't matter. The person dropped from the roof once the guards were on the far side of the bunker, dim wings of light spreading open at the end of the 20 floors fall, allowing the hooded person to land without a single sound. The wings dissipated as quickly as they had appeared and the person moved quickly, rounding a corner and getting behind a guard. In less than a minute, the four guards were dead. Less than two minutes after that, the person was leaving the bunker quickly, escaping through the back alleys of Arias. Less than five minutes after that, an explosion could be heard, destroying the bunker and shattering the windows of the surrounding buildings. The person stopped and took out a cell phone without looking back, sending "Generator 3 is down. 7 to go" as a text message before discarding the phone and walking away. *

Evangeline: Sure~

*Evangeline took her bento from her bag and handed it to Hiroki.*

Evangeline: Just take as much as you want~! I'll share with Jen.

*Jennifer then grabbed her bento from her bag and handed it to Evangeline.*

Jennifer: Good thing I don't eat much, huh?

*Then she turned to Hiroki.*

Jennifer: Did you forget your lunch?

*Even though Jeniffer was really distrusting, she wasn't mean.*

Jeniffer: And if you still want to visit the library after school, Vange and I can take you there. I'm Jeniffer, by the way. Evangeline's friend.

Hiroki: Oh, awesome, thanks!

* Hiroki opened the bento and examined the contents, a big grin on his face as he did so. It seemed homemade and smelled really good. He looked up to answer Jennifer's question, slightly embarrassed that he had done something so idiotic as to throw out food minutes before. This was much better than cafeteria food, though, so part of him was sure it had been the right choice at the time. *

Hiroki: Kind of, yeah... and cafeteria food didn't seem all that appetizing.

* He looked at the bento again, taking a quick bite from it and swallowing as he listened. He lit up again at the mention of the library. *

Hiroki: I would like that a lot, thanks! Sorry if I'm being too imposing, I'll make it up to you, somehow!

* He told them, clasping his hands together and bowing. He started eating again, looking back to the main building, wondering how Kaede and Keon were doing. *
