Congrats on meeting the nice guy. Now if only I could find the right girl...
This past month (especially this past week) has been verrrrry busy. I hope things die down soon. It is really starting to take a toll on me.

Times come and go, JH, I'm sure it will ease off again soon. I've been pretty busy too. I thought when I retired I'd have more time....... I don't. Somehow, there are less hours in a day now.
Very nice to hear our favorite kitty met a nice guy. Nice guys are hard to find. ((Oldwrench imagines kitty girl in skirt mode.....sigh, oh to be young again.))
We might have a break in the rain today. Temps went from highs of 33.8c and very humid on Tuesday to 11.6 and raining yesterday. Supposed to stay cool and rainy for the next few days. It's hard to haul things in my truck when it's raining.

Ever see that Tom Hanks movie called "The Money Pit"? Yeah. I'm living in that house, I think.

No more word from the people who viewed the house........ bummer.
Saturday, Kurt brought his truck and small trailer to help move things. We loaded a few things and went in for lunch. It was sunny and mostly clear. When we came out after lunch there was a lot of thunder rumbling from a big black cloud. Of course it moved right over us dumping a very large amount of rain and hail. Hail up to the size of a cherry fell here, enough to cover the grass. I was very bummed. We did finally get the trailer and truck filled and hauled to Belle Plaine.

Ugh. The night I had at work last night was.... interesting... to say the least. It all turned out well in the end, but jeez. One more evening shift this week, and then I can spend a few hours watching some anime on my new projector (which is completely awesome, btw). And I think the AAW pic of Sakura and Tomoyo has inspired me to pull out my CCS and start rewatching!
.... That is, if I can get some free time between freakin' house projects....

Maybe I should force you to watch Escaflowne so you'd get back to your story............ If I threatened to make you watch the dub if you didn't start writing again, would that help?
Crap, I won't have time to write for a couple days, I'm going back to Belle Plaine, then the in-laws are coming for a reunion.

Speaking of CCS. They just released Chobits on Bluray here in the US. Maybe there is hope that they will realease CCS on Bluray in the US.

I'm getting the TV and internet transferred to the new house, I'll be out of internet and TV from Friday till next Tuesday.
Lots of moving stuff to be done tomorrow and Friday, then the grandkids come for a week.
