Awwwww, that picture is beyond adorable <3
Eluva's birthday is in six days, and I actually finished the drawing on time

I haven't uploaded this on dA yet because I want to wait til it's really her birthday, but since Elu doesn't come on this site I figured it was okay to upload it here xD
The character is the witch/mage she designed for me when I won her kiriban :D I still love it a whoooole lot so I figured I might as well draw her 8D

And next~ A celebration picture! As soon as my wrist has rested some more =w=

So these birthday pics that you do for your friends, are they cartoon pictures of your friends or charactures that they have created?

Ermmmm... I guess it just really depends on how well I know the person xD I know E* and A-chan would love to have their selves on a card or whatever, so for E* I'd most likely draw Esther/Eva and for A-chan I'd draw Amelia/Tsubaki. But I'm not sure whether someone like Rhianna and Elu would like that, so I just choose a character they designed because it's always nice to get fanart :D Not to mention I don't know what they look like |D

So which would you say is harder, making a cartoon version of a person, or making a fanart of an existing characture?

It depends on the character, really. A-chan and E* are very easy because E* and I draw them all the time, so it's not very hard to adjust their designs to fit the person xD Pretty much the same goes for making fanart of an existing character. Which is why I think making a cartoon version of a person is harder, because you have to think of how everything would look in the cartoon world yourself, and with fanart you already have an example. Making fanart is quite hard too, but it's still easier for me. Of course, in the end it all depends on your experience. If you're used to making cartoon versions of people, fanart might be harder to draw.

The colours and everything can change, but this is the general idea for the celebration picture :')
