*Aki was especially happy today, well she had been quite happy this week. Her lips curved into a secret smile as she remembered what she found out just two days ago.*

Kimara: Aki-chan? Is something funny?

Aki: Huh-?

Kimara: You were smiling...

Aki: Was I?

Kimara: Yes.

Aki: Ah--it's nothing. *AKi happily waved it off and hooked with Kimara's arm and they met with Daiki.*

Daiki: Oi!

Kimara: Daiki-kun! Ah-- *Kimara was trying to hide a blush, partially being successful.* Do you have a date to the dance already?

Daiki:Ah? Me? *Kimara nodded so looked at Aki, knowing that she was already going with Mike, it was tough luck for him since the big guy got to ask first. And he might not really like the guy but he did have his honor.* No...I don't have anyone to go with yet. Why? *He grinned devilishly at Kimara who turned into a human tomato.* Are you asking me?

*Kimara was shaking her head vigorously as she turned redder and redder- if it was possible. Aki frowned at the kitsune, he knew he could make any female a speechless dummy with just one of his smiles. In fact he already had a fan club and he was only in the first year.* Well technically, he's a third year. *She swatted at his arm.*

Aki: Don't tease Kimara-chan, Daiki. It's mean.

*Daiki turned to AKi and gave him a charming grin.*

Daiki: Of course, Aki. I'll be nice...for you. *Kimara sighed when Daiki's attention shifted away from her. She had a crush on him but she knew Daiki liked Aki, he wasn't really trying to hide it. But Aki, she was acting weird. Kimara knew Aki liked Mike and she was only friendly with Daiki but when they think no one saw them-she saw them because she was very observant- they passed on looks. They could understand each other well, maybe it was because they were of the same race, so Kimara shrugged it off.*

Aki: Well...where are we headed?

Kimara: Class of course, you're not planning to cut classes are you AKi-chan?

Daiki: I can save you the trouble of worrying Kimara-chan...

Aki: How?

Daiki: I can tie you up.

*Kimara laughed and Aki glared at Daiki.*

Aki: Not funny!

*The three were arrived class but the was no teacher present.*

Kimara: Where is the teacher?

Aki: You think he's absent?

Kimara: So why isn't there a substitute?

Aki:Don't know...

*Aki sat down beside Daiki who was at the end of the last row, Kimara sat in front of Daiki and they left the seat next to her open for Rina.*

Aki: So Kimara-chan, has anyone asked you yet?

*Kimara shook her head glumly.*

Daiki: Well, why don't you go with me? *Kimara looked at him speechless, Daiki flashed her a smile and she turned tomato again.*

Aki: Daiki...*Aki's tone was a warning and Daiki held his hands up in defense.*

Daiki: I'm serious...*He turned back to Kimara.* Really, I don't have a date, you don't have a date...it works pretty well doesn't it?

Kimara: But- but...why me? I'm sure there are plenty of other girls waiting for you to ask them.

Daiki: Probably but I already know you and you're my friend, *Kimara's eyes widened.* Besides I'd rather go with you than any of those other girls, *he lowered his voice forcing Aki and Kimara to come closer.* and between us I think they're idiots who can't hold a conversation if it isn't about them or clothes.

*Both girls straightened. AKi gave Diaki a half-hearted scolding look.*

Aki: Daiki that's mean...

Daiki: But it could be true...

*Aki gave an exasperated sigh. Kimara smiled the scenario, if she didn't know better Aki was acting as the responsible older sister while Daiki was the troublesome younger brother.*

[Raine]

*Rina entered the classroom humming happily,she sat the empty seat next to aki*

Kimara:did something happen Rina??

Rina:You can say that....

Kimara:Ri-

*Rina's fanclub came in begging for her to go with one of them to the dance.She smile at them,an evil grin plastered on his facei'll teach that pervert boyfriend of mine to kiss me without permission...i just said BOYFRIEND....IM BLUSHING!!!!*

Rina:hmm.Ive got an idea...*She said standing up*whoever can beat Hideki-sempai will get to bring me to the dance...

*The fanclub felt scared but their determination came back as they nodded and run off,Rina giggled,she look at her two friends*

Rina:so you guys are going to the dance?

*The three of them nodded.*

Aki: Of course we are...it seems kind of useless that we went and decorated the dance room and not go.

Daiki, to Rina: And judging by the looks of it you're going too...we just have to wait to know with whom. *Daiki leaned back on his chair.* Though, I think it's going to be Hideki...sempai. *Daiki mentally groaned, he almost forgot to add an honorific on Hideki's name, he was actually older than the guy but since he enrolled in the first year he was considered a junior to Hideki.*

Aki: *Aki rolled her eyes.* Well, of course...who in Rina-chan's fanclub can actually beat Hideki-sempai? None!

Kimara: Well, that's nice. I guess all of us are going together.

*When Rina gave them a confused expression Daiki answered.*

Daiki: I'm going with Kimara-chan... *He gestured to Kimara with a thumb, the dog-demon blushed slightly.*

Kimara: Yea- and Aki-chan is going with Michael-kun...*Daiki frowned briefly at that before resuming his bored expression.* and you're probably going to go with Hideki-sempai...

[Raine]

Rina:hey don't go say such things he hast ask me yet...and...*she look at her bag,inside held something hideki gave her,she blushed before shaking her head*anyway,i don't think I'll be going my mother seem to be in need with a lot of help tomorrow since dad comes late

*The teacher walked in to give them lesson,Rina turned to look out of the window she smile,ne..hideki-kun,what are you thinking right now??what are you thinking??

*In shin's office kisane and Ryu stood avoiding each others gaze,kisane sigh folding her arms she look outside*

Kisane:even if the demons can't smell her blood...the humans and elves still caused troubles...shouko-san you may leave now

shouko:Don't worry auntie...our clan won't use her as a weapon we just want rina where she belongs*with that she smile and jump out of the window*

Kisane:Im worried about other clans....really shouko....

Ryu:we have perform the seal...what about that boy he seem to have a secret too...wanna hear woman?

Kisane:If It concerns MY daughter so of course i wanna hear....

*At the end of the class, Mike got a call on his cell phone, someone who told him they knew about the kidnappers, and the plot to take Rina...... Mike had to come alone, now. Mike told Hideki and Kunikida that he had to go for a bit, he's be back to help with the dance hall later.*

*At about the same time, Diaki got a similar call, but the caller said he knew of a plot to kidnap Aki. Diaki told the girls he had to go do something, he's be back in a little while.*

*Mike was returning, having found no one there, he'd waited but no one showed up. Mike's head was full of thoughts about kidnappers, the dance, and Aki, in a pretty dress..... he never sensed the danger till the arrow struck him from behind, driving through the right side of his chest. It was a serious blow, but the dangerous part was the magic, a powerful paralyzing spell, one made to stop all your muscles....... meant to kill. Mike's resistance to magic kept him alive. Straining at the limit of his strength, Mike spun around in time to see the second arrow, and deflect it. Mike saw a dark shadow in the trees, moving away, a shadow with a tail.*

*In the trees the figure moved away, shocked. Mike shouldn't be moving, that spell was the strongest he could get...... well, no matter, the arrow hit the mark, soon the big guy would be out of the way. This should gdet things riled up. He tossed the kitsune bow and arrows under some bushes and left.*

*Mike was in real trouble, he could fight off the magic, with great effort, but it didn't leave his body enough energy to deal with the injury. The injury was rapidly draining his strength, that he needed to hold off the spell. Mike tried to pull out the arrow, but his fingers were going numb, they just wouldn't respond to his bidding. Mike's thoughts were fuzzy, he had to break through the spell, but he didn't have the strength left........ Aki.... The little kitsune could break the spell, she had more magic than she would even admit to. Mike knew he had one chance, get to the school, the last classes would be in session, he had to get to Aki's room.*

*Mike fought his way the short distance to the school. It was like trying to walk through wet cement. No one was out front, everyone in their classes. Mike made it to the front door, but no farther, his hands no longer worked, his arms had no strength, Mike was slowly losing against the magic, if only he could have made it to Aki, with the spell broken, he could have survived the wound. Mike fell against the wall and slid to the ground, so close to his friend.*

Mike whispered: Aki.... help me Aki.

[Raine]

*Rina was looking outside,he saw Michael in an injured condition,his walk unsteady,nah it couldn't be...she stood up from her chair abruptly*

Rina:Michael-sempai!!!

*Before she could say anything,she felt aki by her side and in a second she was gone only the sound of the door shutting,Rina look at Kimara*

Rina:GO quickly!!!i'll go call the others!!*she turn to their teacher*gomen sensei!!

*Rina and kimara ran out into the hallways they both took separate ways*

* Hideki had left the nurse room towards his classroom, but he decided to just head for the roof and cut class. On his way there, though, some boys tried to attack him. Since he was in a good mood, all he did was block their attacks, then swiped them off their feet. The roof was no different history. He spent the whole period making around 20 or more boys fall to the ground repeatedly as they unsuccessfully tried to land hits on him. Finally he got bored and a little ticked off and lifted one of the ground by the collar, the others backing off as he did so. *

Hideki: What do you guys want? Why are you all attacking me?

Boy: We just... want to go to the dance... with Rina-chan...

* Hideki shook his head slowly as he lowered the boy. Figures... *

[Raine]

*Rina burst into hideki's class,she ignored minoru's protests*

Rina:Kunikida!!Michael his...we need you where is hideki?

Kunikida:Uh...Rina?Michael well he kinda never came into class...

Rina:BAKA!!I'll find him...

*Rina rrushed out beside she knew where he is...he always goes there,she came to the roof panting,she look at the boy standing on top of what seem to be her fanclub*

Rina:Oie!Michael...needs..*she fell on her knees yep she exert too much*

* Hideki rushed next to Rina, his heart beating faster. *

Hideki: What? Michael needs what?

* A few of the boys who weren't so beat up or tired went next to them, wondering what was up. *

[Raine]

*Rina grab hideki by the ear*

Rina:his injured!!!why are you not in class!!!you made me run more than i should we should go quickly to him!!!

*rina's legs were trembling,her fear for michael was getting into her*
