I'm trying to download 218gb torrent with my old computer, twice now u torrent has shut off, or the computer has rebooted while I was gone. I've got 65 gigs so far, says two more days, if all goes well.

Ctnp? That's a purretty large video collection you're downloading there...

Actually, knowing Oldwrench, that is probably a picture archive. I am guessing he want to add to his already impressive anime picture archive.

It's not March..... yet, and we've had 78 inches of snow so far this season.

It's not a video, it's 218gb zip files of high resolution anime pictures. Ya, there's that much artwork out there.

If I haven't died from this cold yet, I should have.

I think the only reason I didn't download it was because Oldwrench had already given it to my on a DVD.

And the are TB's and I would venture Peta Bytes of anime picutres out there. Of course not all of them are good.

This site has everything from moe cute stuff to multiple x rated. The only picts they accept there are large high resolution scans, They don't allow your own art, pretty much just commercial, or good as commercial stuff. There are a few people there who are very good at repairing creases and other artifacts in scans. I want that file, I really need that big drive though.

If you need a bigger hard drive check your local BestBuy. They have the WesternDigital 2TB USB2.0 external harddrives on clearence for $86. I just picked up two yesterday. One for myself and the other for my parents.

I would prefer an internal, running that many gigs through usb2 would be terrible. I'm waiting for usb3 for externals.

I might just survive this cold......... if I don't cough my lungs out.

My aunt's going to the hospital today.. I think it's for the best, but it still kinda sucks. I just hope they can find what's causing her pain and that they are able to do something about it.

I got the IcyBox and some very cheap internal disks. Heise.de featured an article about how often 2TB drives fail, it's actually above 5% chance so I had to buy a second one to keep my (shrinking) To Heart collection safe...

Why would you To Heart collection be shrinking? I can't imagine you getting rid of any of it.
