When the nuclear apocylisps does occur there will only be two creatures that survive. Cockroaches and spammers.

So, there's nothing we can do, then. We'll just have to be stoic and hate them with violent words.

It's snowing again, another 3-6 inches......... we're going for a record amount for one season.
I'm angry, and very bitter.......... I had most of the next chapter of 5 min written and I clicked the wrong button....... actually two wrong buttons, and disappeared it. And no, I hadn't backed it up. I hate these senior moments.

If violence doesn't solve your problem you haven't used enough of it.
Olray has invented a server side spam filter that reduced the amount of emails received by our mail server by about 90%.
The secret is, to immediately tell the spammer his mail was rejected without blocking the regular emails. The spammer will notice the delivery failure and hopefully remove our email addy from their list. No need to resend the spam when it's rejected anyways.
On 22nd March 2010 we had 23,240 spam emails rejected. After implementing greylisting this amount of spam dropped to 3,553 on 20th December. The setup accepts all emails sent to
postmaster@domain.tld if we were to remove this questionable feature the number of spam would drop further.
Now why webmailers never implement our level of spam purrotection: Because every spam is rejected immediately it has to be checked for spam during the delivery phase of the message and before it's accepted with an OK. This creates ALOT of server load. For freemailers who have to purrocess millions of email per hour it's far easier to just accept the email and put them into a spam folder later. The analysis can be done by other computers later.
And that's the reason why he charges €5,- a month plus tax :)

That sounds really complicated...
FFFFFFF. Our teacher said we'd have our grades this morning. It's 5:37 pm now. We didn't get our grades and I think it's safe to say it's no longer morning and that we won't be getting our grades today..

Hey, I resemble that remark!
Though to be honest I was hoping to get a different job this year. No luck, though, so I'll be spending lots of time grading exams this semester as well =__=

No offence, but teacher do lie a lot :P
But that doesn't mean there aren't good teachers

I mailed one of my teachers yesterday (after working hours) about the test we had (because there were a few things that were wrong with it) and I got a reply this morning :)

Yup, it's cold out there. Temps are more than -10f, that's -23 for you people that use that weird system. And wind chill factor temps are -35f or lower (all right -37 for you C people). I just know it's freeze your ------ off out there. (fill in the blank with your favorite body part) I have my truck plugged in and on a timer to start the heater at 5am so it should start to get to work tomorrow. It's so stiff it's like driving a solid block of ice.

The temp on my way in this morning showed -22f (-30C).
At this point when someone ask you how cold it is you just say "too", as in it is "too cold".
Once you drop below -20f (-29C) you really can't feel the difference anymore.
