FYI, there is a honor prefix like that "-san" in japan. We basically call people "Frau" and "Herr" here. Not doing that is considered rude and ok in school or in the close family only. So saying to ask you to tell "you" to "you"... well I consider it funny.

Guess it isnt hm... Im going to post it anyways because I spent a lot of time typing. :gg:

We call people "Sie" which is a word non-existant in english. Close friends and family is "Du" also people who agree to it. -sama isn't exactly the same its meaning is almost as "Lady" I think "Du" is like "-chan" but without the age restriction.
