Sorry for being away so long.......... I got back from Anime Detour and the nest day I got sick. Had a nasty high fever and could hardly move for the last couple days. I'll try to write some tonight.

You got sick also? I have been fighting a really bad cold since Monday. I assume I picked it up at AD.

I'm still fighting this crappy fever. I worked all day Friday, and mowed the lawn yesterday.......... that didn't help. Well the grandkids are here now for a few days, so I hope I feel better soon.

A very strange an hectic day today. There were a lot of police, local, State, and County, in our town this morning. Later I learned that a 14 year old girl had been abducted while she was delivering newspapers. She was assaulted by her abductor, but managed to get away by jumping out of his moving car. She used her cell phone to call for help and was found by police 10 miles from town. The were able to arrest the man at his home 60 miles away. I don't think there is punishment bad enough for people like him.


This evening, my daughter, who is here with her two kids, found out her father in law had a heart attack. Her husband is in Texas doing some training for his computer job, and she had a bit of trouble trying to contact him. His cell phone was having problems.

It's been a strange day.

Spent yesterday at an antique and flea-market sale in Rochester. Darlene found a few things, I bought one item. Seems like not much when you drive 250 miles and spend all day wandering and looking.

More rain......... after a month of beautiful weather, it's turned cold wet and gloomy.

It snowed at my house on Friday.
Yep that's right. We get temps in the 70's in April and then snow in May.
April showers bring May snow???

You've got to love Minnesota.
