Hideki: Well, Chi-neesan has a PS2 she lets me borrow. We could play something while the others get here.

*Rina was getting nervous staying here,she feels weird,so many thoughts in her mind,getting worried about her friends.she stood up sighing.she sensed her,even hideki did this time he open the window and jump in*

Shouko:Rina-chan!!!what are you doing with this human??haven't you heard yet?/

Rina:yeah kidnappers...bah!

shouko:Don't treat it like some kind of joke.Ri-chan,The elders are worried for your safety...they've requested you come to our residence...

Rina:I rather die...

Shouko:Don't you see that races are trying anything to attain power what if they use you?

Rina:ha!what kind of power do i have shouko....most half elves have some of em...me none,

* Hideki looked at Shouko, as if he was expecting her to show up. *

Hideki: And good afternoon to you too. Go ahead and talk to Rina all you want.

* He stood up and walked up to her. *

Hideki: But be aware that I'm not letting anyone take Rina away...

* He turns towards Rina. *

Hideki: If she lets me, of course.

*shouko look at hideki,she glared at him*

Shouko:what bussiness is this to you haven't you gotten rejected enough!!!

Rina:shouko!!!!that's enough!!!

Shouko:I can't believe you!!!This won't do Rina!!!why not come back where you belong....why do you tend to stay with these humans!!!

*shouko's eyes sadden,her tears flowing down her cheeks,Rina look at her cousin,she hated her when they were young,but nevertheless Rina defended her from all the elders that how she gain her approval they were the most skilled in their clan....but of course shouko surpassed her with magic.they wanted to fight alongside each other,Rina got up and hug her cousin*

Rina:enough...im your lil sister...even if im taller than you*shouko snort*but ive choose my sides and this is meaningless....didn't you tell me this "the next time we meet will be enemies....your nearly 20...your about to be an adult elf...*she laugh a bit,pulling back*the ceremony will be grand and you will be taller than me and when that happens i'll be ready to fight agaist you...like enemies should do

*Shouko step back wiping her tears staring angrily at RIna,she shook her head*

Shouko:w-w-what are you saying you knew that i said that cos i was angry you left me alone!!

* Hideki was about to say something when the bell rang. He froze in place, looking at Rina. She looked him back and told him she would be alright. He nodded and left the room, all the time looking at Shouko. He quickly headed to the door, feeling something weird, kind of like a heavy presence, but ignored it and opened the door anyways. A blue-haired girl jumped forwards as soon as he did so and hugged him, almost bringing him down. *

Girl: John!!!

Hideki: What the!?!? Let me go, who are you!?

* The girl grabbed him by the shoulders and stared at him for several seconds, examining his face. She showed an evil grin and hugged him again. *

Girl: I can't believe how tall you are! Last time we met you were shorter than me!

* A young man walked in and pulled the girl away from Hideki. *

Young Man: Sorry about that, John, she's just a little excited.

Hideki: Hey, I think you have the wrong guy. My name is Hideki, not John.

Young Man: Oh, right, they changed your name after the project ended... it was a long time ago, too, so I guess you don't remember us.

Kelly: I'm Kelly, this is Samuel. We were best friends when you were... hmm... 5 or 6 years old?

Hideki: What? Where--

* Quick flashbacks about a girl with brown hair and a boy who used to be his best friend passed in front of his eyes in a second. *

Hideki: Oh my god...

Kelly: He remembered!

Hideki: Come on in, let's go.

* He guided them in and asked them to wait in the living room. He then went back to the room to see how was Rina doing. *

*when hideki left shouko had peek to listened on their conversation,brushing Rina's protest*

Shouko:I sensed their aura...

Rina:what aura stop earvedropping will you shouko!!!

shouko:You might not....sensed or hideki but elves do have magic abilities you know...our senses are much better but cannot rival to a kitsune...

Rina:shouko-chan...wh*Rina stop when she heard a girl's voice she saw the girl flung herself at Hideki,she felt a pang of hatred for that girl immediately.she a heard chuckle and saw shouko smiling at her*

Rina:That's enough lets head back...

shouko:huh?did you hear project?

Rina:wha-heh?sempai is coming....get inside quick...*the two went to their original places acting normal*

* Hideki walked into the room just enough to see Rina and Shouko where he had left them. He Stood there for a few seconds thinking what to say. *

Hideki: Ermm... some friends from long ago just found me, dunno how. Hmm... do you want to meet them or--

* Kelly took a peek into the room and saw Rina and Shouko. *

Kelly: Oh, I see you're busy. Tell you what, John, we'll come back later, ok?

Hideki: Wait, there's no need to--

* Before he could finish the sentence Kelly had already gone to the living room and was dragging Samuel towards the door. *

Kelly: See you later, John!

* Hideki heard Samuel protest, but the door opened and closed after them all the same. He looked back at Rina, confused. *

Hideki: And those were Kelly and Samuel... I do remember Kelly was a little impatient but this is just way too much...

*The atmosphere had changed Rina look at hideki sideways*

Rina:wow...john...i thought your name was hideki?

*Shouko was standing in the middle,she step back glancing worried looks at hidekishe didnt say...kun...this is bad..*

Shouko:Rina-chan,Im sure the human has his reaso-

Rina:well of course the human has it's none of my bussiness,well*Rina stood up to take hold of shouko's hand,she smile at hideki*

Rina:Im going to the shop...to buy me a clothes,so i won't be stuck in my waitress uniform...you in the meantime...can wait for kelly-san..*she smile and drag shouko out of the apartment before hideki could say anything*

shouko:That was mean Ri-chan,....

Rina:i know...I know!!!i can't help it!!!!really i cannot!!!!what's with that name john!!!!

* Hideki tried to follow Rina and Shouko but Chisato got in his way as soon as he tried to leave the apartment. *

Chisato: I see Kelly was around.

Hideki: Uh? So you were the one that told them were I was? I was wondering how they had found me after so long.

Chisato: Of course I told them, we've been in touch for a while now. She told me she was coming over from Hawai to open a fashion store so I thought she might want to see you again. She was so close to you back then...

Hideki: Hmm... one question, though, what was that about calling me John? And they mentioned something about a project?

* Chisato looked down and kept silent. When Hideki was going to ask her what was wrong she looked at him again. *

Chisato: She never called you Hideki because she didn't liked the name. Remember her parents aren't japanese, so her first language is english. And about the project, it was something our mom and Kelly's and Samuel's father were working on. After it was over they moved away, remember?

* It wasn't all that clear to him yet, but it kind of made sense. He looked up, trying to fit all pieces together when Chisato began talking again. *

Chisato: By the way, she's gonna need help with her store, you could ask her to hire you. Remember you have to pay me rent from now on.

Hideki: Oh, you're right... yeah, I think I'll do that. Thanks, Chi-neesan.

* Hideki headed outside and looked around. Rina had said she was going to buy clothes, so she must have been headed towards the nearest mall. He began running, hoping to catch up so he could explain what had happened. *

*Shouko look at rina she had buy her clothes and was now wearing a white tank top and a blue skirt*

shouko:see it looks great!!!

Rina:why did i let you talk me into this again?

shouko:i didnt you wanted to impress sempai...ah gomen!!!*she stop seeing Rina glaring at her,they bpth laugh*

Rina:we do look like sister arguing like that don't we

shouko:I wish you would come back Rina-chan...if you were with someone other than hideki...i would have considered that your away from danger...

Rina:what do you mean by that?with sempai im even more safe...right?

Shouko:I'll ask you this once...will he go agaist all his family just for you?you who have no feelings whatsoever for him?will he continue to protect a girl that reject him?

*It came as a shock to Rina but it sink in,shouko was Right,she was being childish and selfish..*

Shouko:come back to where you belong?

Rina*smiles*:That's the problem....i don't know where i belong....i don't have a race,im just divided between two..

*The both of them walk out of the store*
