My friend came over yesterday and we talked a lot about our comic. Things are finally getting somewhere :D
It was a really good distraction from some stuff xD
And today I went shopping with her and, though I didn't buy a new cap/hat, I'm very happy that I bought new paper :3 It's bleedproof, so it should be good for colouring with my markers~ Normally I would go to my parents' home after class tomorrow (which would mean I wouldn't be able to test my paper until next week because my markers are here xD), but since I have to go to a housewarming party tomorrow at eight I have nothing to do for seven hours.. So that leaves enough time to test my new paper ^^;;

That's great Hiki, I want to see more of your comics. I really enjoyed them.
My good news. The state of Minnesota finally reviewed the environmental survey of my shop property and said there's nothing wrong, they have signed off on it. I can finally go through with the sale to the young man who took over my business last February. It only took twelve thousand dollars of testing for them to tell me I haven't spilled any petro chemicals....... but I knew that. What a waste of time and money.

That's government for you. Forget the $12,000. It took them what, 8 months to complete the testing? Talk about speed and efficency.

The weather.......... it's been really great since that big rain of a few weeks ago.
Oh, I finally got the engine for that ford Pickup, it's in and running.

Congrates on the Ford. We could actually use some rain now. It has been 2 weeks since the last rain and my lawn could use some liquid mana from heaven.

Lawns do not need rain............ just pave it and paint it green.
The grandkids are all here.......... it's a zoo. I don't know how my mom did it when we brought our kids, when we all got together, they had 21 grandkids there.
I should give Dinky another poke while she's here, maybe I can get her back to writing again.

I passed my very first test with flying colours~! Thanks to the help of others xDDDD Yay for online tests! And the teacher saying "I don't care whether you all get together and make it or decide to do it on your own." He knows exactly how to make us feel unloved 8D But he's awesome, so that's okay.
Aaaaanyway, I digress.
Another good thing would be that somebody asked me to draw something for a flyer about a karaoke/ddr night. But I thought she said the night was upcoming Saturday, and I haven't heard anything from her about what needs to be drawn. So I'm quite glad I'm not being paid, because now I can just tell her that she has to do it herself if she decides to show up with the info a day before the deadline or something xD

Congratulations Hiki.
My good news is that I should be signning my loan motification tonight. What that means is I will go from a 30 fixed rate at 5.75% to a 30 fixed rate at 4.75% and will save about $140 this first month in interest payments. Over the corse of the loan I will save tens of thousands of dollars in interest payments.
