*kaede was impressed by keone's quick move,although she should be able to attack the monster in no time but fearing for the others she had to stay back.sh move next to keone sensing another fire attack on him and shield him*
guess ill leave it to eva-san and Hiroki-kun then

Kaede:I dont know what you are doing?! but it'll had been simpler if you told us what you could do!!!!

*she told him,her new silver hair glowing under the dark arena.she pierce the sword into the ground cracking the ice that she had created before so everyone could move faster.her only disadvantage was she couldnt control the amount of power using,she could feel keone trembling,knowing the temperture is dropping because of her.*

Kaede:We need to finish this in 10 minutes or this whole place freezes.....

*Agnus look at kaede,again he was amaze by her unique ability,he had tried to find other races that have similar characteristics but fail.kaede seem to be the only sole survivor to use elemental magic with a katana.As she unsheath her katana her haair changes colour as to the element she use,he smile,kaede was indeed growing into a beautiful girl,one can see her elegance when holding a katana with much confidence*

* While Kaede and Keon kept the monster at bay, Hiroki had retreated silently to a wall of the circular room, while maneuvering his daggers into opposite corners to his left and right, while his eyes where fixated in the monster. He murmured under his breath, while remembering all he had been taught. *

Hiroki (murmuring): Fire based... shapeshifter... there's no level 3 monster like that, so maybe...

* He pointed towards the knife on his right, then pointed at the dragon's head. The knife shot at an incredible speed, but right before it hit the dragon's forehead, a flash of light blinded Hiroki momentarily. When he managed to open his eyes again, he noticed the knife was now embedded in the wall between him and Evangeline. *

Hiroki (murmuring): Protective field around its weak point... level 4, rank 3... it's a "chimaera svipdag"...

* Hiroki walked sideways towards his knife, while maneuvering his second knife to help Keon and Kaede. *

Hiroki: It's in the head! Attack the head with magic!

[oldwrench]

Keon: Sorry, maybe I should have, but they didn't give us much time. Watch out, fire. *The dragon breathed another stream of fire against Kaede's shield.* Shapeshifters are a pain..... Thanks, I might not have been able to avoid the fire if you hadn't made this shield.

*Keon wished he hadn't left his stun gun in the locker room, but he had been afraid to let it be seen. He still didn't know if the school alowed guns like that. There was a sudden flash and Keon saw Hiroki's knife bounced back at him. Maybe it was good he didn't have his gun, the projectile might be bounced back at him.*

Keon: It has a field around it, the faster a projectile hits it, the harder it pushes back. That's why your katana and my knife could cut it, they move slower......... It's going to turn on them, and they don't have your shield.

*Keon jumped up yelling and waving at the dragon, catching it's attention. The beast spun and was suddenly the cat monster again.*

Keon: LOOK OUT! *Keon grabbed Kaede and dived to the right just as the monster crashed into the ice shield with it's horns. The shield shattered and the beast snapped its jaws on air, where Keon and Kaede had been moments before.*

[Raine]

*Kaede open her eyes,gripping hard on her sword.she was about to sit up when she realised keone was on top of her,still shielding her.she smile,no one would have done such a thing in this school for her.not wanting to lift him yet she stab her katana on the floor again,as soon as it did ice spread out like a road straight to the beast legs,freezing his movements*

Kaede:That'll it do for now*looks at keone*...um are you feeling comfy?

* Hiroki manage to pull his first knife out from the wall, then turned around to see the monster trapped in the ice, a perfect chance to get a hit in. He threw the knife towards the monster again, maneuvering the second one around the monster to attack from two different angles. He waited until the monster was looking away to attack with one knife, quickly pulling it away and attacking with the second as soon as it turned around. Hiroki kept his eyes on the knives and monster at all times, since he had to focus a lot to keep the knives moving with precision from the distance he was at. *

Hiroki: I'm not doing much damage, but this'll keep it busy enough for you guys to--

* Before Hiroki could finish telling them to attack with magic, again, the monster shapeshifted into a dragon again, the sudden change shattering the ice under it. It flapped one of it's wings, sweeping one of the flying knives away as he gazed at Hiroki, looking displeased. *

Hiroki: Uh oh...

[Hiki]

*Evangeline just leaned back against a wall and looked as the battle started. It wasn’t in a spirit’s nature to fight and generally spirits were left alone. Especially in ancient times, when spirits were a rare sight. Even monsters kept to the unofficial rule to leave spirits alone, though no one actually really knew why. Spirits figured it was because everyone knew spirits wouldn’t harm another being on purpose.
But that was the reason Evangeline knew she most likely wouldn’t be attacked by the monster. Monsters attacked and moved on instinct and therefore they were the only ones who still lived by that unofficial rule. However, there was word that there were monsters who had discarded those instincts and that was the reason Evangeline got sent to school by her parents.
Seeing the other three were doing just fine, Evangeline did nothing. They wouldn’t need her help anyway. Things seemed to go well, but then the monster shape shifted again and started flying. As it flapped one of its wings it swept a knife away and then it flew up, ready to come charging down.*

Evangeline: Oh dear..

*She sighed.*

Evangeline: I guess this is more my department, huh?

*Evangeline stepped away from the wall and looked up. Keeping the others’ comments in mind, she threw her tonfas on the ground and jumped. Since she’s a wind spirit her jumping abilities aren’t like a human’s so she easily jumped onto the railing only to jump further up in the dragon’s direction. She landed on the dragon’s back.*

Evangeline: Gomen ne..

*Before the dragon could react Evangeline summoned a very local wind which pushed down strongly on the dragon’s wings. The wind had changed too swiftly for the dragon to adjust and thus it came crashing down while Evangeline landed neatly on her feet.*

[Raine]

Kaede:Your a wind spirit!!!!!

*her eyes sparkle as she took her hand in hers*

Kaede:That was amazing!!!!!!!!*she said laughing,she felt happy to have meet such strong people,she hadnt known eva was a wind spirit she always stayed out of fights just like her,she didnt need to use her ability if it wasnt for keone she wouldnt have even needed it but it felt great to fight alongside everyone.she heard the beasts beside them growl she made a sad face,she was hoping it wouldnt speak*

Monster:Rats...puny rats!!I hate the smell of all of you,An Aether and a wind spirit,i must not let them live!!

*The monster tried to attack eva and her again but it fail,his body was disintegrating slowly in tiny dust.it usually happens when the monster had gone over its limit and thus ending his existence on earth.according to Miri's file
she wish it hadnt talk,because then she would be the only who's crazy,as she knew the others couldnt hear it exept her.*

Agnus:*Claps*:well done,you had me scared for a moment*pulling keone's ear making him standing up*you could have told us you could do that kid,i could have chosen a different monster...in order for you all to sync your abilities its good to know your allies...if that isnt possible then try to asses the situation not jump into battle, as this would create a situation like earlier,a disorganise group is a dead group..... kaede-chan wasnt able to attack cause she had to shield you keone-san...thus making you guys vulnerable and had to depend on Hiroko-san *Lila corrected him by saying his name is Hiroki but he ignored* and Eva-san...what if Eva-san had no magical powers what would have happen then???*Agnus shiver,and look at kaede who was deep in thought*

Agnus:Kaede....put back your katana in its sheathe!Kaede!!!

*Kaede was lost in thought,when she heard her name and realise the students were shivering because she was still in her form she huriedly put back her weapon in its sheathe,her glowing silver hair turning back to back to her original colour .she kneel down wrapping her katana in her cloth*

* Hiroki ignored Agnus' rant, and went to pick up his knifes instead of the easier alternative of making them fly to him. Once he had recovered them he stopped on the spot where the monster had been last. He took a deep breath, then went towards the group again. *

Hiroki: So, what's our score?

* He was sure they could have handled that better, but everyone seemed to be holding back. He knew he had been holding back, at least, mostly because they weren't really fighting for their lives. *

*Keon backed away from Angus, glaring at the teacher. What was the guy's problem. He hadn't exactly given them time to find out what any of the others were capable of....... not even to learn their names. You couldn't just ask the monster to wait while you discussed a plan of attack. The guy was an idiot, maybe he should....... no, not now. He tried to calm himself. Just because the guy was a jerk didn't mean he should lose his temper. It would just bring unwanted attention.*

Keon put his knife away: Sorry there wasn't much time for discussion.

Agnus*scratch his head*:Uh yeah sorry about that Lila seem to have opened the gate earlier than expected anyway thats it for today,it was a lovely demonstration.each time you come to class you will remain in the group ove assign you today....Class dismiss

*Kaede was following the others outside when Lila jump in front of her,with her other friends*

Lila:What were you trying to do kill us!!!!!!Thanks to you we are still shivering from the cold!!!!

Kaede:I-im so-

Lila:Stay away from us you monster,your going to scare the new students too,...they just dont know the truth yet*Lila push her hair back and walk away leaving kaede staring down at her,she remembered now that she wasnt part of anything,it just went back to normal,she being out of their world...Monster??ah yes she was reffered to that cause of her ability,she was the only one that has that kind of ability....no other race...she was something out of the ordinary*

Kaede:monster huh?

*she ran pass the others heading straight u the stairs leading to the roof,the same rooftop where she always sits alone and eats*
