Here in europe the older the car the more taxes you have to pay. What kind of car is that? Luxury item?

Here, the older the car, the less you pay for the license, or tax. This old Pontiac is a very clean and nice car, only 130,000 miles on it. Usually these engines go 300,000 or more, this one just went bad.

Here you pay less tax too, but the insurance rises to the sky (a model 10 years old pays around 300% more than one only 2 years old).

EDIT: And the insurance is a must have. If the cops stop you and you don't have it, you can kiss your car and license goodbye.

You won't get a license plate without a mandatory insurance here. And you can only cancel the insurance after deregistering the car at the road traffic licensing department.

The thing is, the insurance must be renewed annually. If you don't do it... let's just say it's better to save on fuel until you do. There's another bunch of papers that need to be renewed annually so, all in all and for a new model car, you have to spend around 1000 USD every "anniversary". And that amount goes up and up (and away) as the car gets older.

Here insurance has many levels, basic liability is based on driver age experience and record, the collision and comprehensive coverage is based on the vehicle, and goes down with the age of the car. An older car is just paid off as a total loss in case of an accident, usually at a value less than you would like.
Minnesota requires proof of insurance to license the car, but people drop the insurance after they get the plates, that's why we have probably about 25% uninsured drivers in this state.

If you find time draw a girl leaning over a box to the right (happy, with lots of ribbons - of course!)

I will try to change the webmail theme by putting her around the webmail box.

You know what I mean right? No? It's like this:

The black frame is the space you should draw in.

Hmmm purrrhaps we should replace the ugly cat with a ribbon...
