and the cold continues, it hasn't gotten up to 0f, that's -17.77c since last Thursday. It might make it that high today, before going back down for the next few days. Oh, they say maybe 3 inches of snow tomorrow and windy too.

Record cold here, too. Not as cold as you, Gpa... but WAY to cold for this far south.

Mum tried to call for an appointment (for me) yesterday and she was on hold for a loooong time and she tried to call again today. After waiting about ten minutes it was her turn and she explained what was wrong with me to the assistant and that I wanted to make an appointment in the week of the 25th. The assistant said: "Are you sure you want to wait until the 25th? You can come on thursday."
So apparently they think it's urgent, but not urgent enough to make an appointment in their "urgent cases" time (which doctors here have. They have time where they don't plan anything for urgent cases).
Then mum said that was not an option because I had exams and then they simply said that my complaints were because of those (which is impossible because they started waaaay before that) and everything would be fine with a pill.
Then the assistant said she wanted to talk to me for a bit, but I was upstairs so mum said she would get me. The assistant, however, said: "Oh no, there are still six people waiting and I don't have time for that. You'll have to call back." (seriously? it would only take a few seconds.)
Mum got so angry then that she said some more things and hung up.
I don't know all of the details because, as I said, I was upstairs, but I know enough to be angry with them.

Also... I'm hungry ;A;

Hiki, that sucks. Really sucks. That assistant was really rude!!
So- my sister came down this past weekend... and promptly got sick. She spent the time mostly on our couch reading a book. Not that I can blame her, because she really was sick, but it was very disappointing! Wish we could've had more fun. Oh, well.

That is a major bummer on both of your parts. I certainly hope things go better for you Hiki.

Still waiting for Jason's loan to come through so I can sell him my business. I wanted to be done with it by now, but that's how government loans go. Hope we can get the sale done before I go to Costa Rica next month.

So the Oldwrench is finally retireing. So what are you going to do with all your free time?

Problem is, I don't get to retire, just go from employer to employee. I have a few years before SHE will let me retire.
