Christmas has officially been canceled, at least around here. Weather is bad and getting worse, about 8 inches of snow so far and more on the way. we're supposed to get high winds tonight too. I guess even a sleigh and reindeer can't make it in a blizzard.

This is only the second time Christmas has been canceled here. Last time was back in the early 1980's when we had 34F below zero and 45+mph wind.

Wow. Kinda glad I'm not there. But in a way it's nice to be all bundled up inside to watch the snow falling....

Not melting any time soon, this morning it's -25f, that's -31.666 for you C people. It's supposed to stay below 0 all day, that's below -17.777C. Looks like below zero over night for at least the next week.
