Well, my kids and grand kids are here, wifes sisters and brother in laws too, I won't have much time to chat today. We're all watching my brand new hd tv set that just came today.

I was there for a short time, and I saw that Kira stopped by while I was away.

Kira is the one-minute-man. When you fail to immediately say hi he's away in less than 5 minutes... :sob:

GPS, I got my QX5 today, looks neat, now I have to get time to try it. Maybe I should hook a computer to my 42" LG television, it has a computer monitor input, and try running it on there........... BIG picture. To bad they don't have drivers for ubuntu, unless maybe there are some out there, I haven't looked, the company only has windows and mac drivers.

Ok, Sakura, I got started on your pen and pencil set. I'm using some Black Walnut wood that we cut down on a farm near here. here are some picts. I got stared with the pencil because I dont have the proper size bushings to mount the pen blanks on the lathe. Time to check the catalog again.

You don't need drivers for the TV. Just set the computer resolution to the native resolution of the tv and the TV take care of the rest.

And AMV's look amazing on a big screen.

The drivers weren't for the TV set, I would like to be able to use the microscope with my Linux computer. The Company only has software for windows and mac. If I had linux software, I could take that box up and hook it up to my TV set, there's just to much hooked up to my windows box to move it.

And I'm working on making the right size bushings to mount the blanks for Sakura's pen on my lathe. I decided to try to make my own since I won't be getting to the woodworkers store for at least a couple weeks.
